Leaky Head

By GARY S.

from Los ANgeles, CA, US

I am religious about taking care of equipment. Always rinse and lube O-rings at every battery change. Last dives in Cayman....condensation on inner bezel. Not good. Started flickering...dead shortly thereafter. Hoping UK they will back the product as stated in the warranty. $200 lite should not experience this....

Over priced and short lived

By Kevin B.

from Talladega, AL, US

I bought 2 of these lights worked great for the first year. On the second year one light flooded and the other’s light head died. I find the light over priced and short lived.

Is the beam intensity evenly spread out over the whole beam angle or does it have a hot spot in the center?
DEAN R on Oct 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have used it a couple of times and as I recall it is a wide beam pattern. To use it all other white lights must be off and it would work best if several divers had them on at the same time to illuminate a larger area. No hot spot in the middle as I recall..Also would recommend getting the standard lamp head with it to use it as a normal light.
With this light is there a need to buy the additional 88.00 uv head?
Inya6619 on Aug 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We did not find the need to, the light alone was more than adequate
will this light work with the 90 Degree lamp head from the aqualite Classic model? Also, will this light have adjustable lumen power output?
Micah K on Mar 24, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I wouldn't be concerned with 90 degrees. The light does have 3 settings. Keep it on high power for kick ass visuals, the battery will last, hasn't died on me yet.
How dose this light compare to the Sola nightsea?
John H on Mar 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The Sola is heavier but completely sealed. It also has a 60 degree beam angle compared to the 90 degree UK.
Is this light for camera use only?
A shopper on Jan 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This is a UV light, could be used for general diving as well, but is not designed to be a primary light, only for UV applications.
