Great Gear Bag

This is a great gear bag for all of my scuba equipment. Comfortable to carry, easy to access gear (Side zipper and top access). Outside zippered compartment holds dive log, camera, cert cards, wallet, etc. Great for boat dives when you need to keep all of your gear together. It holds my full wetsuit, two masks, snorkel, fins, boots, BCD, towel, camera, regulator (in aqualung travel case) and a set of clothes. Very impressed with quality at a pretty decent price. Excellent Design, Poor Quality

The gear bag comes with a lifetime warranty, but after sending two emails to Leisure Pro seeking information on whether they honor the warranty and what I need to do to make a warranty claim, I have had no response. This is the first time I have had poor service from Leisure Pro, but poor service is poor service.

Great gear bag, lots of room

By Brad D.

from Morganville, NJ, US

This is a high quality bag that does what it's supposed to. Plenty of room- fits a mask, snorkel, booties, gloves, hood, wetsuit, fins, BCD, reg set, knives, etc. with even a little room to spare. Straps are very comfortable, my 10 year old son has no problem carrying the loaded bag on his shoulders.

Nice

I love it ,holds everything and more.

A wonderful gear bag, but..

By MSK

This is my 2nd Aqua Lung Ocean Pack deluxe Mesh Backpack because my first backpack ripped at the section where mesh met nylon bag when I picked up the bag with ALL my gear for the day's dive on the 8th day of diving. Because Leisure Pro honored the lifetime warranty, I was sent a replacement bag. Perhaps the bag needs less mesh at the drawstring area, so I won't grab the mesh by accident. I love the bag and will get it reinforced before my next trip.

I would buy this bag again, but probably will not have too

Great bag at a great prince

By Jack

I tried a few different bags. What I wanted was a backpack type, easy to carry on my back. That I can take on vacations, and will hold all my gear. I love this bag. It folds easily and fit in the bottom of my checked luggage. It fits all my scuba gear. Large fins, wet suite, bcd, booties, reg etc ... . If you over fill this bag, your taking way too much stuff on the boat :) Outside pocket kept my things dry, like my cell phone and wallet. Truth is I also keep these things in a zip lock bag ... And put that in the pockets. But, that's just extra precautions. Totally satisfied ... As I've gone through at least 3 other bags nd returned them all.

Bag is big and holds all my stuff

Great Aqua Lung Bag!

By Rich

This bag is great. My wife and I have several other mesh bags and duffel bags, and this trumps them all. I got her one for the holidays, and she got me one once we saw how large it is. There is a large front pocket that fits any dive log or writing slate. It also has an ID slot which I put my first certification card in for in case (and when) it gets lost, which is hard to conceive considering how LARGE it is. It fits all my equipment (sans the tanks) and is sturdy. Great!

Great quality bag, definitely recommend

By kiowas99

I use this product as a gear bag to and from and while on the boat. I would not depend on this to be your airplane or travel bag- it is rubberized mesh and not intended for that. But it serves it purpose well and is made very well. I am very satisfied. It has a zipper running down its entire length so you can get into it easily when you forgot something that is at the bottom. The straps are comfy. The front pocket is like the front of a school backpack with interior pockets for c-card, keys, etc. Some like to use this for a dunk tank then drying- I am sure that would work fine- but I like to throughly rise and ry my gear- so I don't do this inside a bag.

Good bag good size

By Tommy D.

Bag had to be replaced because mess across top was not seen well. Leisure Pro handles it...no problem.

Ugly but functional

By Pepelyn

As usual with LeisurePro, prompt and courteous people behind the computer and in person. Came super fast to my flat!

Great mesh bag for day of boat diving

By Hawaiian

Comfortably fits all my typical dive gear - fins and dive boots, wetsuit, BC, regulator, towel and some additional clothing. The side pocket is good for keys and small snacks, though not waterproof so beware of using of anything that might be damaged by water.

By Recreational S.

I used this to take mine and my girlfriend's snorkeling gear. It was great as I could easliy thrown all of the masks and fins in the bag along with our towels. The bag has plenty of room and dries quickly.

Is it big enough for a BC?
A shopper on Nov 30, 2013
BEST ANSWER: I purchased this backpack a year ago and yes, it is big enough for a bc.
This bag holds my fins, wetsuit, regulator, bc mask, snorkel dry bag with towel and jacket i and a couple of dry boxes and a repair kit. I have really been happy with this bag after spending 35 years of using a mesh bag with only a handle. it is much easier throwing this bag onto my back and heading for the dock. I highly recommend!
Would 1 or 2 pair of the Aqualung Hotshot fins lit in this bag?
Bud F on Jan 5, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It is quite roomy and had no problem holding my new scuba pro fins. It also depends on if you need to drawstring it tightly closed, or can let items stick out the top. In the often hurried process of getting your gear in the bag and off the boat or beach, it probably doesn't matter much.
what is the weight of this bag when empty?
A shopper on Jun 17, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I would say a little over a pound DRY. If i were you i would buy the bag. It's better than the last one i had that was designed like this but it did not have the zipper on the side. the straps that connect to each other across the chest helps alot.
can this bag be submerged in the rinse tank?
Lynn U on Jun 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I would say it depends on how it is used. They're is nothing special about the material and I wash my bag at home in the tub with fins and masks. However, while on trips I use this bag to carry gear on land and the bag gets sand and dirt on it inside and out. As a result I would never put the bag in a rinse tank with any delicate dive gear such as regulators. I would think it would be ok to rinse in a tank dedicated to were suites if not took dirty.
when this bag is full with a pair of fins 60cm long plus a travel bc (travellight-cressi) plus wetsuit, reg, mask & booties, will be consider as a handbaggage on the plane?
-Dod- on Jul 3, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hard to say really! You could definitely try. But the bag is pretty large. I think with the bag full of gear, it may exceed the carry on specs for most airlines. I've never used this bag for airline travel. I've taken it with me on out of country travels to lug my stuff from the hotel room to the dive boat. I don't put my BC in there because I don't have travel BC, put I place two sets of masks, fins, snorkels, wetsuits, booties, towels, water bottles, etc.
Does this bag hold it's shape when you toss it on a boat? My current bag billows out.
A shopper on Jul 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The bag is mesh, so it allows air and water to flow through it. It doesn't billow out but it is pliable so it doesn't hold it's shape the way, for instance, a suitcase would. In function, it's more like a canvas duffle, but specially designed for your dive gear. I find a bit heavy to pack, though, so I don't take it on every trip.
