I would buy this again

I purchased this mask for use with added lenses for close-up work. I'm a photographer and the size of the lenses, was perfect for what I needed.

Straight to the trash...

Although the mask was awful, service as always with Leisure pro is always amazing.

Nice mask and reliable too!!

By mgendy

It is a very nice mask and I like it alot. Tusa is a well known brand and this one provides reliability through a metal pin in their strap joints which doesn't break easily. It also works for prescription lenses. The only take on it, its vision is not wide enough, but I am fine with this.

Good snorkeling mask and backup 4 diving

By kgb_agent

Boight two of these for my wife and daughter for snorkeling. My other daughter's dive mask started leaking and she used one of these for diving. No complaints and all seemed to be pleased.

Excellent mask!

By OTTER

I have purchased these maskes before, and if in the unfortunate event I lose them off the side of the boat again, would buy the same ones. I have tried others but find that they are not as good. I have had one set of these for 8 years and they are still up to the task.

great mask at a great price

By Gene1340

inexpensive enough to not worry about, but rugged enough to take a beating! I have one as a primary and one as a backup, as does my wife. Great mask for the money!

fabulous

By SkiMom

it was so great and easy - took out of the case -popped on and hit the water - it was fabulous

Great Mask for the Money

Bought this for my wife. It fit her perfect and I did some snorkeling and it fit me OK too.

Second one

By captain b.

I bought a Liberator mask in 1993 and this is a replacement for that mask.No bells or whistles just a good fitting mask that doesn't leak, takes a beating and lasts a long time.

3rd One

By Ms D.

This is great for female divers, as we tend to have smaller faces than men.As an instructor, I never leave home without it.

Great mask

By ROLAND C.

I purchased this mask to replace one just like I have have used for over 15 years. And it still has many years left in it. I also purchased the prescription lens by TUSA. They snap right in, and arent as clumsy or expensive as the ground lens that are glued in. This mask is comfortable and durable, and has replaceable color panels. The only thing I replace on all my masks is the strap. It's a good strap, but a slap strap is much more practical.

very happy with product

No problem with any of the components.[...]

Good basic option, good buy

By RT

Prompt delivery, good service over the phone.

Hard to tell I am wearing it

By Ian

I dive twice every week in an aquarium and this is the best mask so far, comfortable, wateright and gives a good range of vision

Nice first mask for a beginner

By Chris b.

Seems to work fine for the basic open-water diving. I didn't have too many problems with it. Occasionally I felt it leak, but I think that was more a feeling that it was, but it really wasn't. Seemed to work well - I don't like the plastic strap and will replace with something else that's easier to get on/off with long hair, instead of catching on my hair.

Solid mask for the money

By SnorkelBoy

Bought this mask for a girlfriend after she tried it on a snorkel tour and liked it. Mask did not leak which is the most important criteria for any mask. If only it came with a security device included as she lost the first one. I recommend the package that includes the TUSA fins and the snorkel as she only lost the mask and snorkel. I have the fins and they are pretty fast in the water so check out the combo deal.

This one didn't fit my narrow face. My old mask is a Tusa Liberator that I have used for 7 years, but this one is a little larger than the original Liberator. It probably comes in different sizes

I don't recommend it for anyone with a small face area. I bought it to try the fit along with a few other masks. My (large male) cousin liked it though and bought it from me before I could return it.

how do I get this mask with the corrective lenses, there is no lense chart to make a selection?
A shopper on Jul 3, 2012
BEST ANSWER: If you know your prescription for each eye in diopters (-3, -5)etc, that is the way each lens is sold. You then just pop the lens in the socket and put the mask back together. By the way, since water magnifies, you may not need as powerful a lens as your prescription calls for. You could back off the number a little and still be ok. I use a -5, but put in -4's in the mask, and it works fine underwater.
If my prescription looks like this, SPH CYL AXIS ADD
O.D. +0.75 -1.25 085 +2.25 What is this negative diopter thing? Will I be able to see at distance?
A shopper on Feb 20, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Your distance prescription is not very strong - as a matter of fact what is called the "spherical equivalent" of your Rx is close to zero, so you should not need a distance correction in your mask.
Can I buy just a right plain lens for my liberator plus mask?
Andy S on Aug 21, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The liberator plus mask comes with plain lenses. If you want to keep one without correction, just get one corrected lens.
How do you swap out the lenses out of this mask?
A shopper on May 24, 2011
BEST ANSWER: The trade is easy enough. The center bridge piece (which holds together the frame and lenses) on the mask should snap off and then it will be a simple matter to pop the old lenses out and the new ones in and then replace the clip. Sometimes the plastic can be a little bit difficult to remove, but you just need to use a bit of force. Don't be scared, sometime the plastic can be hard to remove. If you're uncomfortable doing it, you should be able to take the mask to your local dive shop and they should be able to do teh switch in just a few minutes (and hopefully for free).
wondering "where" I would put my Rx when placing an order?
Terry on Jul 10, 2019
BEST ANSWER: You have to add the correct lenses to the order .

Its my computer or the Black/Black has a blue frame?
A shopper on Aug 12, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The Black/Black has a Black frame.
How do you replace the lenses in this mask?
A shopper on May 24, 2011
BEST ANSWER: Here is the how-to sheet on replacing lenses for different models of Tusa masks.
I am looking for the Tusa Liberator mask with black rubber skirt not the clear neoprene. Is that the color Black/Black on the website?
A shopper on May 24, 2011
BEST ANSWER: Yes that is the Black/Black color. It is a black frame with a black silicone skirt.
