Daughters birthday gift

We are giving this as a gift to our daughter. She hasn't tried them out yet but I'm positive she will love using them. We are headed to Turks and Caicos for spring break. We plan on doing lots of snorkeling while we are there.

great fins!

Great fins for the price. Got a set for my boyfriend (Sz M- hes normally a mens 10) and (Sz S for me- I'm normally a woman's 10). They fit great, lightweight, and are great for our minimal 1-3x/vacations a year in the Carribean!

Good for snorkeling

By BARBARA P.

I use these for snorkeling. I wear a women’s size 8.5 and the small fits well. The footbed is comfortable with no rubbing. The fin is a little soft. I would not use these for scuba as they are not stiff enough for current but they are great for snorkeling.

Good Flipper overall & very well made, but will not fit a wide foot.

Hi I'm a female and wear a size 6 shoe. Should I get a small or extra small? Also how long are these fins? Please help! Thanks!
A shopper on Mar 12, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Definitely an extra small! They hurt my 7-8 size feet but would be perfect for your size. They will fit in most carry-on bags, around 21-23 inches long (depending on the size)
It says good for warm or temperate waters...not good for cold water, and if not, why? Thanks:)
sean D on Sep 21, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It is not recommended for colder waters, first and foremost, because it is a full-foot pocket fin. The foot pocket is generally sized to be worn bare-footed without a sock or bootie. Because of this, your foot is somewhat exposed to the water. Most people do not want their foot/ankle to be exposed to cold water.
Secondly, the materials the fin is made from may not perform as well in colder waters. It is possible that the temperature of the water affects the properties of the fin.
I'm thinking of buying these as travel fins. Do you know if they are lightweight for air travel?
A shopper on Jun 22, 2012
BEST ANSWER: We travel via air with two sets of fins (including the SnorkelPro my wife uses), two masks and snorkels. We put them in a rubberized bag and carry it on the plane. No issues in security or on the plan. This price on the SnorkelPro fins is also very good. They were significantly more expensive at the Key West shops.
