Would not buy again!

I've had two of these and they both flooded. I have no idea why but I wouldn't buy another one.

Good for 5 years, then flooded.

By darc

Came as part of a Oceanic SWIV package as other reviewer mentioned. It worked great for 5 years in various environments/depths but flooded this weekend during a shallow dive. I suppose 5 years isn't too bad for the price...

Gone in 2 years/less than 100 dives

Bought it in a console with computer from Leisure Pro two years ago. Just pulled it out today and it is encrusted and frozen. I hope it didn't back wash into my 1st stage. I have other spgs that are 30 years old and working fine. This is junk.

Poorly designed gauge that easily floods

By Okidiver

These gauges were included in our VEO 250 Swiv Consoles (VEO 250 Computer, Pressure Gauge, and Compass). These new pressure gauges flooded after our trip to Cozumel, Mexico. I went ahead and got the gauges replaced (under warranty) at a local dive shop. During our trip to Bonaire, the pressure gauges flooded again. Again, the gauges were replaced a second time (under warranty) and six months later in Cozumel, the gauges flooded for a third (and final) time. I went ahead and went back to our Scubapro gauges and got rid of the Oceanic consoles...too much of a hassle and a dive accident waiting to happen. I am surprised that Oceanic has not had any type of safety recalls on this product. Be weary of this product.

I sold all these after buying. I didn't realize they were plastic instead of brass with glass. Look at Dive Rite "Slimline" gauges instead.
