I teach and am in the pool 4-6 hrs. a week .I have had several suits in the last 20 years no other brands put a seam in the crouch. The remedy is to weight the crouch between uses. Needless to say I will not purchase again.

Many good fair to warm weather dives with this suit. Love it. Comfortable, especially the front zip. Easy in and out.

Used this shorty from for 6 months (March to August) EVERYDAY at Maldives while working for a resort dive center. It was perfect for warm water diving - no complaints.

Great suit!

Exactly what I wanted. It does run small, make sure you order one size bigger than your chart size.

Overall good fit and good looking

By Kharon

I found the suit easy to get on (over a rashguard) and reasonable to get off thanks to the tip from Foundationer. I'm 5'10" and 220 (too much gut). The largest size (2XL) fit snugly but wasn't too tight. I noticed that pulling the legs down after it was on eased the tightness in the crotch. I'm very happy with the suit and especially the front zip.

Love this shorty, now...

Go for one size bigger

By Michael M.

from Detroit, MI, US

I took the advice of people who commented here to go a size bigger and it works, kind of awkward when you're trying to take it off and I spent like 15 minutes trying to figure out a way but overall I like it

Review

Had never needed a wetsuit like this but since I swim laps over the winter, and while the pool is heated, getting in and out is much more tolerable with the suit, plus it is very comfortable in the water. My only concern is that while I can get it on, I am unable to get out of the arms and need someone to peel the arms off so I can get out. Next order will be a back zipper

Go Big!

First Wetsuit

By mathieu

For my fist wetsuit I'm pretty impressed, I followed the reviews and bought a size bigger and I'm glad I did. I fits pretty good but can ride up the groin a bit, also it's a bit of an issue getting off but once you get used to it it's not a problem. Jellyfish are evil.

Good Value

By Scubaden

Overall, it kept me very warm in 86 degree temps. Probably a little heavy for that temp, but it was comfortable. I'm 5'10", 200 with 44" chest and I ordered XXL and it fit fine. Based on other comments I read, this suit runs small, so I ordered one size up. I thought the sleeves were a little tight, but once I pushed them up on my arm, it was fine. Fairly easy to get off but I wore a rash guard under it which made it a little easier to pull off.

Great suit for the price

By ScubaDoc

As another reviewer mentioned, these suits seem to run small. I'm 5'7", 160, 30" inseam, 31" waist and ordered a medium. It was very tight and impossible to take off without assistance. I exchanged it for a large, and it fits well/snug. The suit is still a little difficult to remove compared to a back zip suit, but it's a minor inconvenience.

Nice wetsuit, small in size

By Bob

Delivery was very fast, especially since I live in Hawai'i. I was worried that when I returned it I would have to pay for the shipping both ways. LeisurePro defintely stepped up and took care of me with not fees either way. They have a very satisfied customer for life.

M not M??

By Juergen R.

Before ordering the Shorty I did try a Cressi Lido Shorty size M and it did fit well. It looks like the Playa M is smaler for what ever reason. Still works, but....

BARBARA W on Jul 13, 2015
First of all, I chose this for the fact that it's front zip. I also am a bigger girl and most women's sizes for jackets and shorties don't fit me , so finding this, in a men's size and a bright accent color was nice and with the sale price, I couldn't turn it down.4

Ladis on May 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Add at least two sizes to whatever you usually wear. This suit runs very, very small.
i am 5'6 chest -41 and waist is 40 what is the best size for a cressi playa wetsuit?
George A on Feb 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It depends on how tight you want it. My husband got a large - chest 42 / waist 34 and he's 5'8". I would probably do an XL. You can always return it. Its a great value - we have been on several diving trip with them and they look great - had them for 3 years.
I NEED XXXL/7 ACCORDING YOUR CHART ?

I AM 240 LB. HIP 42
CAN YOU GET THIS SIZE FOR ME
ESER K on Oct 5, 2013
BEST ANSWER: I can't say whether LeisurePro can order you the triple XL. I'm 220 and the 2XL fits me snug. I would have opted for the 3XL were it available. I don't have a lot of trouble getting it off as long as I wear a short sleeve rash shirt underneath. I'm not sure, but at 240 even the 3XL might be a bit snug for you. I'm not sure that Cressi even makes a 3XL in this model.
looking for 5x size ?
todd c on Mar 5, 2013
BEST ANSWER: I chose a 2X size and I am 6'2' and 205 lbs. It is a tight fit, but that is what I wanted.
