Perfect back up like

Surprising light for it's size and price. Fits perfectly in the hand or pocket, making it great for the backup light.

Most Liked Negative Review

Hit or Miss

Outer finish corroded severely after first dive in Cozumel. Always rinse gear well but didn't seem to help on this light. Item returned via Leisure Pro to manufacturer. Received store credit 3 months later. Wouldn't recommend although others appear to have good luck with them.

Great light at a great price

By E I.

from Hernando, FL, US

We used this light as our main light on all of our night dives in Bonaire. Never failed us and provided great light, I would recommend this light to any one.

Great light

By John P.

from Isla Mujeres, Quantana Roo, MX

This is a great light for the price. It is perfect for day time use or as a back up on a night dive.

Worked great for a night snorkel!

By S U.

The Orcatorch was much brighter than the other dive light used that night. The Orcatorch was easy to control in the water, and easily secured.

Love Orca torch

By Cyborg

from Phoenix , AZ, US

Absolutely Love these lights! I have 5 of them now. I have 3 mounted as my primary light on my hand, and 2 back up in my drysuit thigh pockets.

Great light

from Vero Beach, FL, US

This is a great dive light. Small and fits in BC pocket easily. Lanyard keeps it secure. Great light color and beam. Can turn itself on due to pressure of depth.

Great backup light, or primary

By brent b.

from Kansas City, KS, IT

Very simple to operate, its a twist on/off style. Its rechargeable, its bright, its a flood beam, its small, light, and comes with a lanyard. Great price and perfect as a backup to my Big Blue 6000 lumen primary

Bright Light! Bright Light!

from 11582, NY, US

Reasonably priced , great quality and big beam of light.

Very Functional, Reliable, and Cost-Effective

By Shiu C.

from Lansing, MI, US

Totally loving this dive light. It's bright (1000 lumen), triple O-ring protected, rugged, and definitive cost-effective. Saw it used in a Goodman handle setup with a reputable European tec diving group and decided to try it for myself. Not overly bright (otherwise, too much back-scatter), and the aircraft-grade aluminum body definitely stand the test of environment. Took four of these down to > 150' a few times, in both sea and fresh waters, weekly multi-dives through sandy banks and rock bottoms lakes for two months, lights still look and function like new. Also, great battery live!

Great light for one this small

from SLC, UT, US

I have two dive lights. The other has an adjustable beam and a push button (very convenient because twisting the lights with three o-rings can be difficult), however, I keep coming back to this light because it is more compact. I use it mostly to look under dark reefs when diving. Especially helpful if the water visibility is low.

its a torch. won't light your cigar though

from New York, NY, US

the only thing i found annoying is that the charge does not have + / - indicator for the battery. seems like the basic stuff they left out.

Good, inexpensive light.

from diamond bar, CA, US

Very solid built, so far so good. Very easy to carry. Perfect for shore diving in California.

Excellent light

from Chicago, IL, US

Small enough to use easily. Bright enough for great night dive primary.

SO bright

By Therese W.

It is so bright it will blind anyone or anything in its direct path!

Bright white beam

By Christopher B.

Very bright and narrow beam is great for exploring. Not great for video or pictures given the narrow beam. Lasts well over an hour.

This is probably a dumb question. The box didn't come with a user manual and I can't seem to figure out how to turn the light on?
DD Diver on Feb 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I had the same problem. Normally, you simply twist the top until it's tight. Turns out, though, that the one I bought was shipped without the battery. Had to get the seller to send me the battery separately. Check to make sure that yours has the battery in it!
I'm not crazy about leaving my flashlight on for the duration of my dive. Is it safe for the flashlight to turn it on and off throughout the dive?
Kathy V on Aug 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I've had no problem turning the lights on and off during a dive. When in the ocean, I do this frequently (works great for looking un reefs). When we did a cavern dive, the dive master asked us to leave the lights on the entire dive. He said to cover the light with your hand or by putting it against our body if you wanted the light gone. The battery lasted fine for two 45 . minute dives being on all the time.
does this come with a charger?
A shopper on Mar 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it comes with a charger. (Just make sure that yours also arrives with a battery! Mine didn't, so it had to be shipped separately -- at no extra cost, but some delay.)
How big is this light? Will it fit in BC pocket?
DEBRA E on May 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It is 6 inches or so, so it depends! I have a Zeagle Zene and I have to extend the pocket to fit it. But it is only until I get in the water, as we use it even during the day to look in crevices and under rocks. Once we found two that work (we got 2 for my husband and they were not turning reasonably easily), we are very happy with them!
Is the light supposed to heat up really fast?? I just runned it for 5 mins and got really hot.
Jose A on Jun 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Did you do that outside or under the water ? In my case I have been diving with it and turning it on under the water and didn't have any problems with it. I am quiet pleased , considering the size of the lamp, the potency with regards the price it's a great deal in my view .
I am just after the charger for this light, where can I purchase?
Ari H on Oct 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. The link below is for the charger.
