great addition to any camera small underwater camera

By Silver H.

from Anchorage, AK, US

this wrist strap works like a charm for me. When I am not using my camera I can tuck it into the sleeve, however my camera is very small (4" X 2"). The best part for me is that I never have to worry about dropping my camera (which does NOT) float as this handy wrist strap does.

Very good

Worst EVER!!!!

This product is made of very small string. First time using it, my husband and I both had flashlights attached. Mine broke and lost my flashlight after entering the water and his broke and lost his flashlight trying to enter the boat. depth was way too deep to retrieve them. I wouldn't recommend putting anything on these lanyards

Dove Palancar Deep in Cozumel, Mexico. The pre-dive briefing stated 'if you drop something here, it's gone'. Thought this would make a good 'just in case'.

I know that I won't want to lose my light so I bought this tether.

How positively buoyant is this device?
Carmine P on Sep 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: In salt water the buoyancy is higher of course. I was not making any measurement but something not more then 100 grms. However the quality is OK and colour will help to find the item in the water even if it goes down.
To summarise this item is OK for small things like compass or similar.
