This is a great basic belt. I am a beginner diver and have used this belt for 20 dives and love it.

Great Weight Belt at a Great Price

By Julian S.

This weight belt is perfect for me with 20 lbs in 6 uncoated sea-pearl weights (5/5/3/3/2/2) or (5/5/5/5). My waist is 32" and with six weights on it's just about right, so if you're much larger, you might want to consider a 60" weight belt. The webbing is high quality, but the buckle feels a little flimsy (what you'd expect for [$]).I've had it on multiple dives and freedives and it hasn't failed me yet.

The Standard in Weight Belts

I have my doubts

By Roger

The problem is the new fabric is too stiff, which makes fastening the buckle very difficult, and very difficult to release. Also, the way the buckle was bending, I don't hold out too much hope that it will last very long.

I do not use this for diving, it makes a great battery box belt for my boat battery. Much better than the ones they sell at the boat shop for that purpose.
