Perfect for a Pony

It is compact, light weight and well made. One HP and two LP ports. Accommodates one second stage and one inflation hose. No port for Octo but will work for a main set up with an Air 2, inflation hose integrated air supply.

Great Deco Reg

By Mike

This is a great deco reg, I have two of them with a button SPG and a high performance 2nd stage. Easy to O2 clean and easy to service with minimal parts and no adjustments.

Perfect first stage for deco / stage use

By Mark

The compact size, low port count, and simple reliable piston design makes these perfect as stage or deco regs, paired with a similarly simple and reliable second stage.

K-DIN conversion

By MICHAEL D.

Very easy and cost effective way to convert from K to DIN, as here in Italy, nearly all the shops are outfitted with DIN whips. For the price it was worth converting 2 mains and the pony. Noticeable breathing draw effort when below 150fsw, but it's tolerable.

good value

By MICHAEL D.

An inexpensive way to change out your first stage to DIN. Moving to Europe, there's a big preference for DIN over Yoke.

Is this a sealed regulator and can it be used in cold water 35 - 50 degrees?
A shopper on Aug 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I too use it only for my ponys. Nice and small, and I run my ponys unside down strpped to my main tank in back so the reg is at the bottom. Doesn't hit anything. Its not touted as a cold water fist stage and I wouldn't use it exclusively as such. As a pony baling out of a situation from cold depth to a warmer thermocline is the only way I consider it ok for cold work.
What are the overall dimensions of this regulator?
A shopper on Sep 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It's a compact first stage at approx 3.5 inches long and 1.5 inch diameter.
Can this be used with a 3500 psi tank?
Michael E on Sep 20, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The reg is designed for 200/300 BAR, so it can handle the 2900/4350 psi. I use this reg on a pony, so it's always filled to 3000psi, and breaths fine.
Is this first stage compatible with a scubapro r-195 regulator http://www.leisurepro.com/p-scpr195/scubapro-r195-regulator-second-stage-only?
Joshua W on May 25, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The low pressure outlet is 135-145psi, so a quick bench test will give you peace of mind that your 2nd stage works with the 1st stage as expected. Shouldn't be any issues.
Does this reg use a dry air bleed system?
A shopper on Nov 1, 2013
BEST ANSWER: No, the regulator is of non balanced design, dry bleed is the function of a balanced reg
will this reg be suitable for hookah diving with a 20ft hose in a swimming pool?
Swimshine P on May 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: n terms of performance it will be no problem. I use mine down to 70 ft and it works effortlessly.
Hello, How much does this regulator first stage weigh?
superpulpo on Oct 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Slightly less than 1 lb.
can this item be used as a scuba breathing regulator?
Eric S on Jun 17, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Yes, but it is an unbalanced piston, so the performance would degrade at depth.
