These work great!

By Theresa Z.

from Largo, FL, US

I use these to strengthen my legs in the pool, per the advice of a physical therapist. They are very comfortable in the water. They are not overly large and clumsy. They are just perfect. They rinse and dry very easily and are easy to carry around. I'm very glad I purchased them.

Perfect for leisure swimming!

By Grace

I wanted a recreational swim fin for use in the lake when just having fun. These are perfect. Also bought a pair for my BF and he loves his too.

Great for swim training!

By jp

I was looking for some excersize fins for a swim for fittness class I have been taking and these have worked great. There not scuba fins and divers wont like em due tot heir short fins, but they are great for swim work outs and also work well for use while body surfing. The small fin makes for easier manuverability in the surf, but still alows for some propulsion.

BEST ANSWER: My wife has shoe size 38. I bought fins (Head Swim Fin energy Training Fins) for her size 5-6 ( 38-39).

She has already tried them. She likes them as they light and comfortable
Is their an advantage to these shorter fins over the ones that are longer? What is the difference? Would these be good for snorkeling?
A shopper on May 19, 2012
BEST ANSWER: The long fins are clumbsy and takes a very strong person to use them/ advanced divers get more thrust because there leg power excels the ability of shorter fins. the mid fins work well for most any user/ but even them excel the older/ or out shape person like me! The trainer/ short fins are 5x the thrust power of bare feet! I dive barefoot.. 40 feet.. and come back up emmediatetly but with the short fin I dive 60 feet.. and 10 seconds later I comfortably return can walk in shallow water and they last way longer than long fins.. /easy storeage.
I am looking for exercise fins to replace mine. Looking at the Head and the other one you show. My women shoe size is 9 - 9.5, so if I order the 8-9 will it fit?

BEST ANSWER: Yes That should work well.
I wear a women's size 6. I know the TYR fins say that women should get a size down from their shoe size. Is this the case with these? Should I order one size smaller?
Christy on Feb 24, 2013
