Fins for Big Feet

By Hagar

As an ex-SAR swimmer, fins are essential for my exercise. My 30 year old Scott fins began to injure my feet. I searched and found the Finis Zoomers. These fins work your legs and core well and track underwater straight lessening the strain on the knees. Excellent product, have already recommended to other swimmers.

Are these flex fins???
karen m on Mar 25, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I'm not sure what flex fins are but I can tell you these are not 'flexible' they are fairly stiff and make your legs work hard to kick. Some fins (longer blade or softer/flexible rubber) make it 'easier' to kick. These do not. Prior to these fins I had a longer blade speedo so these took some getting used to. These fins are better for swimming on top of the water. If you want to do underwater kick sets the longer or flexible fins are a better option. These fins give your legs a great work out.
what is the total length in inches? These are shorter than regular fins, right?
Judy L on Nov 16, 2013
BEST ANSWER: They vary depending on the foot size. I have the men's 12.5- 13 and the total length is 15 inches, my girlfriend has the 9.5-11 female and the are 13.5 total length.
