Surprised me with the comfort and ease of use

I travel often to film underwater and was looking for a light BCD that will be comfortable for my aching back. Really great BCD, Room for weights and everything that I was hoping for.

This is a GREAT BCD, if your looking for a back inflate and a great price, you can’t go wrong.

By Grant M.

Used this BCD on 8 dives in Cabo San Lucas the week after it arrived. It worked flawlessly, absolutely did everything I expected it would. Very comfortable, great storage, solid construction and perfect balance. The weight pockets latched securely and never caused any concern. I really like the back inflate design, very stable underwater easy to use on the surface.Once again LeisurePro did a great job in answering my questions and shipping my order on time.

Very good BC

By Ming H.

from San Jose, CA, US

Very comfortable and easy to control. This BC has enough buoyancy for cold water diving. The build quality is pretty solid. I am very satisfied with overall experience. The rear weight packet is really useful. The zip pocket is large enough to put my accessaries. However, it's a little heavy for travel. And the size is larger than I expected.

Check your weights

By Michael M.

from Hudson, NH, US

The overall fit and quality is very nice and comfortable and the pockets are very functional. Make sure the weights you use fit properly. A 10 lb waist curved weights will not fit into the sleeve and a set of old style 2- 5lb weights I had overlapped and did stress the zipper. I used an 8lb and a 2lb and it fit perfectly into the pocket and the sleeve. A 10lb non coated straight weight should work but I only had old 10lb plastic coated ones that did not fit

My 4th BC, 1st Back Inflate Style

By JAMES E.

from Saipan, Saipan, MP

I have always owned/used jacket style BC's. I wanted to try a back inflate style and went with this Cressi design. I think the sizing on back inflate BCs runs small as compared to jacket style BCs. I wear a Large jacket BC, and they are always a bit big. I decided to go with a Medium on this design, and of course it is a little small. I wish the pockets were bigger. The metal D rings are very scratched up already. But other than those points, I do like this BC very much. It is very comfortable.

CRESSI Ace

Very well made, good fit and performed very well. There is no cummerbund which I think would make it perfect. Not having one would not stop me from buying again.

Seems like a sleek design. Less bulky than a traditional jacket style and lighter. Great reviews by users.

How many tank band straps are there?
BETTY S on Feb 26, 2019
BEST ANSWER: There is only one tank band. Never had a problem , very secure both in and out of the water. Great bcd!
Does this have a rigid backplate?
Robert L on Aug 14, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, with padding and a carrying handle. Very comfortable and great tank support, hardly feel it.
About how long does it take to dry (at what temperature / humidity )? Will it be dry to pack next day of diving (assuming the last dive is done by evening) on travel?
Norie S on May 30, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The Cressi Ace dries fairly fast. As a volunteer rescue diver I need my equipment to dry and be repacked as soon as possible. In most cases this BCD will dry over night depending on temperature and the humidity. Any air flow such as a fan helps this process as well. Be sure the weight pockets are removed and side pockets are unzipped and opened. Those are the two areas that take the longest to dry. Be safe and enjoy your diving!
Does the bcd come with the tank mounted weight pockets?
Dang D on Dec 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, two small packets fit onto the single tank strap.
What size are the pockets on a Med?
JP C on Mar 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hi, I use a med. I don't have a way to measure the pockets. But I feel the pockets are definitely smaller than my jacket BCD (cressi travel light). I can put my 5mm gloves in one pocket no problem. In fact, I really like the pockets design of Ace. The zip open in the front instead in the back or side. That makes it much easier to access the pockets when wearing thick gloves. Hope that helps.
What length is the inflator hose that's included?
A shopper on Aug 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi There,

The inflator hose is 27" long.
