Zeagle 20 cu. ft. Pony System

If you are doing deeper dives, or dives in an extended overhead environment, then you need that added time that a larger cylinder will give. The Zeagle 20 cu. ft. Pony Bottle System is a totally redundant breathing system that includes a 20 cu. ft. aluminum cylinder, a Zeagle RaZor Regulator/Valve Combination with a 36" (91.5 cm) hose and a balanced Envoy 2nd stage.

There are many ways to mount the 20-cu. ft. pony bottle redundant system to your BC. Using Zeagle's heavy-duty Pony Bottle Bands (SKU: ZGLPBAKH) the 20-cu. ft. pony bottle can be mounted next to the main cylinder tucked out of the way while the Envoy 2nd stage can be clipped to a D-ring in the front of the BC. For mounting the pony bottle in front of the diver you can use Zeagle's Tank Pouch (SKU: ZGL8079) to clip it to your BC's D-rings. Nearly any mounting position can be achieved with these accessories.

The RaZor regulator acts as an integrated tank valve and piston 1st stage. Replacing the standard tank valve allows the pony bottle to become smaller and lighter while the piston style 1st stage paired with the balanced Envoy 2nd stage is a rugged and reliable regulator for pony bottle use. Filling the cylinder is done with the included Fill Adapter at any dive shop's filling station.

The non-balanced flow-by piston design of the RaZor 1st stage provides much greater reliability and serviceability compared to conventional designs, while improving responsiveness and performance at all breathing rates. The RaZor 1st Stage/Valve threads directly into any standard 3/4-14 NPSM Scuba cylinder, this combination saves space and increases efficiency making it ideal where weight and space are critical such as stage bottles and fully redundant systems. The RaZor comes with a filling adapter that allows the RaZor to fill its tank using a standard yoke filling whip. The RaZor first stage has one 7/16"-20 UNF threaded high pressure and four 3/8"-24 UNF threaded low pressure ports for multiple hose routing options.

The Envoy Second Stage is lightweight, compact and comfortable. Its design features a Venturi (free flow) control. Over the years, evolutionary design changes have created a regulator that is resistant to free flow on the surface, with incredible smoothness and ease of breathing underwater. This pneumatically balanced downstream demand valve second stage regulator is manufactured from chrome plated marine grade-brass, flexible and ridged thermoplastics, elastomeric polymers and silicone rubber. The standard hose is 3/8" threaded.

The regulator weighs 2.04 lbs. (925 g) without the hose, comes with a comprehensive owner's manual and is Nitrox ready to 40% out of the box. The complete Zeagle 20 cu. ft. Pony Bottle System weighs roughly 12 lbs. (5.44 kg) and measures (H x Dia.) 13.75" x 16.5" (35 cm x 42 cm).
