Cressi rocks

Love Cressi

The Cressi Mini-Console 2 is a small compact console that houses the Cressi Mini-Manometer Pressure Gauge and a new, small, analog depth gauge. Both gauges are high-quality instruments with chrome plated brass cases and the depth gauge has a diaphragm membrane actuated function. Both gauges have a large circular easy-to-read scale. The instruments are housed in a small, modern shaped console boot, made from polycarbonate and desmopan, (a thermoplastic polyurethane) two materials that guarantee protection from shocks, scratches and which, at the same time, is very light. At the end of the console, slightly to the sides, there are two eyelets for fastening the instrument to the BCD or harness with a clip or lanyard so that it does not hang down with the risk of catching and damaging the environment or the instruments.

The luminescent face of the 230' depth gauge, the first 40' of depth readings are in 10' increments, (which correspond to the area of decompression stops), and are widely spaced for ease-of-reading. For at-a-glance monitoring of depth, the face is divided into 3-different colored zones: Green up to 66', light-blue from 66' to 130' and red from 130' to the end of the scale. The instrument has a maximum depth indicator that stops on the maximum depth reached during the dive. This function is extremely handy for logging of dive information.

The Mini-Manometer Pressure Gauge luminescent dial reads from 0 to 5000 psi. Like the depth gauge the instruments face is divided into three different colored zones for at-a-glance monitoring of air the area from 600 psi and below is highlighted in red with a solid bar and red stripes. If gauge is used on deeper dives, the red scale extends and fades to 1,300 psi, this provides for added reserve air indication required at greater depths. From 600 to approximately 3,000 psi is green and from 3,000 to end of scale is blue.

The front glass lens is made to act as a pressure relief valve. In the event of a sudden increase in pressure inside the instrument, the glass rises slightly, allowing the excess pressure to escape. Pressure gauge is equipped with a 7/16" threaded high-pressure hose. The instrument console is made in Italy.

Good gauge.

By Diver D.

Not a gauge with all the bells and whistles but still good for the money.

good unit for the money

By Big W.

light weight unit that is clear and easy to read. makes a great unit for my pony.

I would not trust it 100%

It doesn't always show the exact depth

nice compact console

By coreefdiver

nice compact unit. If I had the chance to do it all over again, I'd get the model with the compass. I was not able to find an adequate retractor setup that worked with the attachment options built into this unit. That being said, this unit is light and small enough that the standard hose clip attached to the hose and BC hold this just fine.

My favorite gauges ever

By eXtreme C.

THis gauge is for lighter, smaller, and more stream line than any other gauge I have ever seen. other gauges that I've used seriosly are about 10 times heavier.I would reccomend this gauge to anyone. That being said, I do have to say that when I bought this unit the depth gauge did not work, [...] But this gauge is awesome and I am happy with it's quality. You can buy a lemmon with dive gear too, but it doesn't happen often.[...] [...]

Compact & Reliable Backup Gauge

By I'm d.

I use this gauge as backup to my Wireless Dive Computer. It is rugged and yet small enough to not get in the way when not needed. I often use it to monitor my initial air pressure.

Small, Easy to read, Great Valu

By Dunedog

This is one of the best guage consoles I have ever seen, very small but not hard to read and very well built. Have had it for over a year now and have no problems.

great product!!!

By Marcelo P.

small but of easy visualization, I recommend!!!

Nice and compact

Bought this for my 11 year old daughter who started her Jr. Open Water training. Used in pool and in Caribbean. She loved it.

Simple but effective

By irontrent

This guage is small and affordable. It is somewhat hard to read at a quick glance, because the pressure guage changes scale a few times. Also, it does not hold its glow for very long making use in dark or low light difficult. The depth guage on mine does not work well at shallow depths.

Nice Compact Console

By bill

My wife replaced her full sized console with this. It is less than half the size of her old set up, yet is easy to read, easy to tuck away into her cumberbund and a nice size for travel

Reliable and Compact

By Kenny

Prompt, packed great and great customer service.

Great gauges!

By Sarah S.

I love this gauge! It is very easy to read. The color-coding definitely helps. It is also small and doesn't get in the way. I just took this gauge for a dive trip and my dive buddy is jealous of it.

I would buy it again.

By seahawk

these gauges are mini and stay out of your way.
