Very sharp out of the box

By MERLIN

Great knife, very sharp, but if you don't dry it immediately after finishing your dive it will have rust spots on it. All in all a great knife

great utility knife

By UW F.

I have over 100 dives with this knife... i've used it to pry scallops of the rocks, cut line and rope of lead and lures i've found on the bottom or stuck in rocks, and it works great for cleaning scallops underwater and after the dive.

At TUSA, everything they produce is closely scrutinized to ensure it performs to the highest standard. TUSA knives, for example, feature a locking sheath so the knives are always ready when you need them. The release mechanism is designed so you can get your knife out at a moment's notice. In addition, all TUSA Imprex knives have a sharpened straight and serrated 420-grade stainless steel blade, so they can cut everything from rope to underwater obstructions in a matter of seconds and can be disassembled for cleaning and maintenance.

The TUSA Imprex Knife has an efficient 5-3/8" (14 cm) blade with a serrated edge and a line cutter on one side with a full straight edge on the other side. The knives overall length is 10-1/2" (27 cm) with a blunt tip design. The ergonomic designed grip is made from a durable rubber and plastic. The hand grip has an eyelet for attachment of a wrist lanyard. A heavy-duty metal butt cap allows the knife to be used as a tank-banger for signaling underwater. The sheath has a single button lock mechanism to secure the knife. The sheath has easy adjustable buckles and straps that allow for a comfortable fit. Knife is available in multiple colors.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  what is the best knife to brain a fish when spear fishing?
b l  which tusa knife is compatible with the tusa conquest bcd grommets?
Shopper  I'm trying to decide what to get. Why did you pick this one?
JOEL C  Really nice knife. Straps are actually usable and comfortable. Sheath has positive lock that works well, but is still easy to remove. Breaks down easy for cleaning. Full size knife, but not huge. Feels good in my hand. The 3 different edges have always been must in my book. You can scrape, cut heavy line or slice fishing line with ease.
ALEKSANDR B  Good price, nice condition, comfortable to use.
KENNETH S  I bought this knife because the main thing is that this knife comes completely apart so you can wash all the salt water from every part. I have had this knife for four years now and it has been the best knife I have ever owned for scuba. It has stayed as sharp as the day I bought it. Hope this helps. PS - I would buy another one should this one fail.
CHRIS J  I liked the look, I wanted something that I could wear on my thigh, and most importantly, I liked the locking feature. I have heard that lost of people lose their dive knives but hopefully this locking feature would help with that. I haven't dived with this yet so I can't speak on how it has actually worked. Cheers!
Shopper  what type of metal is this knife? im thinking stainless steel?
RICHARD D  The blade and top nut are 416 grade stainless steel.
SHAD W  The blade is made from 420 Stainless steel.
TIM T  Let me start by saying; I love LeisurePro, but that knife is junk! It will rust very quick and rust bad. Look for the US DIVERS 304 stainless steel knife....I think they sell it. It will not rust and holds a nice edge. Good luck.
CHRIS J  Yes, it is stainless steel. It has "electrolytic polishing, buff polishing, and clear paint coating to protect the knife from rusting". It uses "H-1" stainless steel, which is apparently the more rust proof, best cutting, and is the strongest compared to other stainless steels.
AARON B  yes it is stainless but you will still need to clean it after every use, its best to remove the handle & wash all metal with plenty of fresh water.
Shopper  What is the measure of the blade?
LeisurePro S  5 3/8" blade, 10 1/2" overall length.
