The 1'st stage is a balanced diaphragm design in a chromed marine brass body w/tri-material valve(brass, soft polyurethane, & heavy-duty polyurethane). The tri-material valve is an innovation, created to optimize performance, safety, & reliability over time. This innovative technical solution guarantees maximum performance, safety, & durability for Mares 1'st stages. The exclusive Mares DFC system featured minimizes intermediate pressure drop during the inhalation phase. The DFC system substantially reduces breathing effort & inhalation resistance, especially during deep dives & under high air flow conditions. The 2'nd stage Vortex Assist Design (V.A.D.) system: The VAD's air bypass tube conveys air to the mouthpiece creating a swirling vortex w/low-pressure area in center this keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation, giving very sensitive & easy breathing at all depths.

The 2'nd stage cover has mesh-grid system for water inflow/outflow, which provides a further performance improvement. The compact & ergonomic exhaust tee ensures superior hydrodynamic performance & reduced exhalation resistance. Prestige 2'nd stage has the Fluid Dynamic Deflector, that is engineered to receive & properly direct the airflow from the bypass tube to the mouthpiece. Combined w/VAD system it delivers very natural & effortless breathing. 2'nd stage has a lightweight techno-polymer housing. Mares super flex hose far surpassed the tests required by EN250. Hose is extremely light weight & soft, for maximum freedom of movement & reducing jaw fatigue. Superflex hose is 3/8" threaded and is 31.5" (80 cm) in length.

With this two-in-one breathing device, an extra hose is eliminated, giving you a less cumbersome dive. The power inflation, oral inflation, & exhaust valve are designed to remain like standard BC inflators, so you are already familiar w/the Gemini's operating system. Made from durable plastic materials & chromed brass for strength & long life. The Gemini comes equipped w/an owner's manual & 3/8" threaded high-flow quick-disconnect hose.

The Vision Computer w/7/16" threaded Q/D hose is an innovative console computer. New levels of sophistication & technology allow this air-integrated computer to stand alone in a sea of outdated & feature lacking dive computers. The Vision incorporates a 3-button design that delivers everything recreational/technical divers could ever need. It allows you 4 gases up to 100% oxygen for enriched air diving.

The incorporated 2-D digital compass & air-integration display is extremely convenient, allowing you to ditch extra gauges on your console. The vision allows for 3 dive modes: air, nitrox or gauge, no matter what type of diving you decide to do, you're covered. The Vision features an automatic altitude adjustment up to 14,000' (4,367 meters). The screen displays dive time remaining, NDL, maximum depth, current depth, & surface interval time. Additionally, you can refer to 110 dives w/computers extensive memory bank. Pre-dive planning & repetitive-dive planning, which allow you to walk through your planned profiles before beginning your dive. This is convenient if you ever use the computer in gauge mode. DECO & dive stop warnings (audio & visual) assist you in safe diving practice & optimal nitrogen unloading.

Air Time Remaining, Dive Time Remaining (DTR, ATR): For details on functions see SKU: SWD5125. Vision features push-button or automatic activation, triggered by water contact. Push-button activation is easily verifying operation & cylinder pressure, but in case you forget, or simply choose not to activate computer, it can be as simple as jumping in the water. The Vision Computer uses a modified Haldanean based Pelagic DSAT algorithm, w/no decompression limits closely following the PADI RDP, decompression in agreement w/Bulhmann ZHL-16c & French MN90. Computer has a depth display from 0' to 399' (0 to 120 meters) in gauge mode & 0' to 330' (100 meters) in normal mode. Tank pressure is displayed from 0 to 5,000 psi (0 to 350 bars). The computer can display imperial or metric measurements & is powered by a 3-volt CR2450 Lithium user replaceable battery. Computer is equipped w/backlighting for night & low light conditions. The Vision has a 24-dive log book.

The third valve is integrated to the top of the Sherwood Gemini & is activate by a cable running down the inflator hose. The Avid CQR 3 BCD is available in multiple sizes w/a lift capacity of 20 to 36 lbs. (9 to 16.3 kg). The air cell is made w/durable & heavy-duty 1000 Denier w/ urethane laminate for air tight integrity. The BCD accommodates 16 lbs. to 26 lbs. (7.26 to 11.8 kg) of releasable weight & 10 lbs.
