About NRS Pro Compact Rescue Throw Bag, Yellow
Being Safe while on the water is paramount when kayaking or when engaged in swift water activates. The NRS Compact Rescue Throw Bag is an excellent choice for swift water emergency work. Its compact shape and light weight are perfect for kayakers. Easy to carry and handle in a water environment the throw bag has bright yellow lower panels for easy identification in an emergency and 2" (5.1cm) mesh drainage panels that promote rapid water drainage and reduce drying time. A barrel-lock drawstring is incorporated in a flared nylon top for smoother throws, plus easy reloading and closure. The adjustable squeeze-style" side-release buckled strap makes for easy transport.
Inside the Throw Bag is 70' (21.34m) of 0.25" (6.35mm) polypropylene rope in high visibility yellow. The rope has 950 lbs. (431 kg) tensile strength and it floats for good visibility on the water. Internal foam flotation keeps the bag on the top of the water where you need it for rescue. The Compact Rescue Throw Bag weighs 19.2 oz. (544.3 g). Note: Rope knots reduce tensile strength. For this reason, NRS makes no claim regarding a rescue bag's strength. Maximum load indicated is for the rope alone.
