Excelent product

By Jerry C.

 -  Enumclaw, WA, US

I was having trouble sealing a leak in a air cushion my wife uses on her power chair. Tried inner tube patches with and without weather strip adhesive as other products to no avail. Besides being in a tight fillet nothing adhered well. I came across this repair material and suffice it to say, problem solved.

Love this stuf!

I am not a diver. Never wore a wetsuit. However, I use neoprene to fabricate holsters and other items. This is the best adhesive for neoprene that I have ever found. Once dry, the bond is stronger than the neoprene itself. Also like that it comes in varied sizes.

Don't let a wetsuit rip interrupt your fun. Fix it fast with McNett Seal Cement. And why stop there? You can use Seal Cement to add pockets to your wetsuit, Seal gaskets or repair tears on fishing waders, rubber boots and gloves. Seal Cement waterproofs, seals and protects against abrasion for longer life. Seal Cement is more elastic than other neoprene cements, so wetsuit or dry suit repair flexes like new. Save money and save a dive by making long lasting neoprene repairs in minutes. Black Seal Cement is available in 4 fl. oz. (118 ml) can. Seal Cement cures in 10 minutes so you can even due repairs in the field without interrupting your water activities. Seal Cement is proudly made in the USA.

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Will this work to attach latex seals to a tri-lam type drysuit?
CHARLES K  Yes, I believe it will. It worked great for me sealing a tear & patch on my 3ml wetsuit.
JEFF W  No, it wont
Jerry C  I wish to brush on several thin layers of Seal Cement as it comes from the tube I have. I want the layers to be quite thin, say 10 mil thick. This will require utilizing a thinning solvent. Toluene is used in this product. Is there another solvent, besides toluene, that could be used?. Thank you.
David E  You need to use Toluene; other solvents do not work (well.). You can buy a quart of this online and have it shipped to places where it is not sold because it's a volatile compound. It you will have to put out some effort to find that. Don't spend time going to paint or hardware stores as mostly they are no longer permitted to sell it except to labs or business accounts. Call and infirm they will ship to your address; they just have to package the shipment with special sealed containment. Hope this works out for you.
