Happy Diving

I love this wetsuit. It kept me warm and comfortable even with night dive. I wish I made this purchase sooner. I really appreciate the sale representative for his expertise assistant.

The new Thermoprene wetsuit line from Henderson Aquatics delivers quality and performance a step above the rest. A fantastic value, Thermoprene is ideal for budget-minded divers who want the best in materials, design and construction. Thermoprene is crafted from a high quality neoprene that has 75% more stretch than standard wetsuit material. This increased stretch significantly improves diver comfort by making Thermoprene suits noticeably more flexible than the competition. Thermoprene is also easier to get into, pulling over the shoulders and around the torso with less huff and puff than standard wetsuits. And, the fabric's exterior stands up extremely well to friction, meaning it won't show undue wear from BC straps and weight belts.

Get the features and design benefits of more expensive suits in this economically priced jumpsuit ideal for both local waters and exotic destinations. The Thermoprene Jumpsuit's effectiveness is based on a contoured fit that helps keeps water exchange to a minimum combined with a superior grade of neoprene for maximum heat retention. All seams are GBS-glued and blind stitched which further prevents water seepage and extends suit life. Creature comforts include Lycra trimmed cuffs, a spine pad and an adjustable collar. To help protect the suit durable, yet flexible freedom flex knee pads are included. Suit has a #10-YKK back zipper with zipper tab leash for easy donning and doffing. The suit 5mm nylon 2 rubber utilizes limestone based poly-chloroprene reducing the dependency on oil and oil derived chemicals for a more environmentally friendly manufacturing process. Suit is available in multiple sizes, and is black in color.

Pleasantly surprised

By Lori S.

from Thunder bay, ON, CA

I am 5.4, 120 pound woman and I purchased this 5mm for myself. It fits perfect! I purchased a bare woman before this one, and it was awful. This one has more stretch and fits my curved way better. The bare was horrible and much more expensive.i have not work this in the water yet so I can't say how it is for warmth. So I rated it 4 stars because I cannot give an accurate review an hour testing it. However it is far more comfortable then the bare I have which also after one use came apart at the back closure.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
A P  brand quality
Shopper  I am a short adult (5') but also a bit busty for my size. I am looking at purchasing the size 12 but am worried the suit does not take into account bust. Any help?
KENNETH P  You will want to go a size bigger. It will most likely not fit you. I bought it for my 12 year old and he is already going to need another one.
Lisa L. L  It's shaped for kids, so not much room for curves! My niece is 5"3", just about 100# and it's too snug for her to wear anymore. She's not curvy- tall and slim. She tried on a size 4 women's suit which was short but was cut to fit a fuller chest/hips. (She ended up in a size 8 womens with room to grow into the hips and chest!)
KEVIN F  It is a unisex junior size. It is not designed with adult features in mind.
RICHARD S  I think it's a valid concern. I bought the suit for my son and it fit him well. Meaning possibly no room for breasts. Enter an answer to this question.
Jo Ann B  I am looking at the above wetsuit to buy. I'm buying it for myself. I'm an adult. Just under 5' tall. I have a women's hyper stretch 3 mm in size 6, but it isn't warm enough. How does thermoprene compare to hyper stretch? I'm chubby, but the hyper stretch works fine. I'm looking at a size 16 in the junior. Do you think that might work? Jo Ann
BARTON Z  Thermoprene and hyperstrech are just names of different styles of neoprene. Going to a 5 mil instead of a 3 is going to keep you warmer. Or you could get a vest to wear under or over your 3 mil.
Steve S  The size depends on the rest of your measurements. The Thermoprene though is a coating on the inside of the suit that helps keep you even warmer than a standard 5mm suit.
MICHAEL C  I purchased this wetsuit for my daughter, who was 10 years old at the time. There is no denying that Henderson Thermoprene is great product. You do, however, pay a significant premium for it. That said, my son, now 6, is looking forward to the hand-me-down.
Grace L  Bought this wetsuit for one of my daughters. She likes it. She used to wear a 3mm full with a 3mm shorty prior to this wetsuit. It will fit tighter and feel stiffer bec not hyperstretch. I would try a shorty over the 3 ml myself. I personally own a hyperstretch and have used a shorty over my own hendersen.
