No loss of mobility

By saluki450

I use these for wreck diving and they work great. True fit and just right for 75 degree water. They also work great for holding onto the down line during the descent and for holding to line at 15 feet for the safety stop. No loss of mobility.

Very good gloves

By Clayton

Great gloves. The amara reinforcement has great grip with out constricting movement. I use these gloves all the time even for wakeboarding and have never run into a problem. If I ever wear these out I will buy another pair just like them.

Deep See's 2mm Waterfall Gloves are made with a 2mm nylon-2 neoprene back and the palm and fingers are reinforced Amara, giving you a lightweight, yet protective and durable glove. Wrists can be cinched with a stitched elastic adjustable hook and loop fastener closure band. All seams are sewn for strength and durability. The Deep See Waterfall Gloves are great for use in warm tropical water diving and can also be used in water sports such as water skiing, paddle boards, jet skiing, surfing and personal watercrafts. Gloves are black with gray palms/fingers and are available in multiple sizes.

Excellent Quality Gloves

By robert g.

from Lexington, KY, US

I like to wear gloves when diving wrecks. These are great quality for the price. Dries quickly after washing and rinsing. Velcro closure keeps it's hold over wetsuit sleeves.

great for the price

these recently started falling apart to the point i can't use em. but there got used a ton. lobstering and spearfishing. the palms weren't as thick as some i've seen, but they were enough for what i needed. the dexterity was good too. decent trade off. new ones have much thicker palms, we'll see which work best.

Nice gloves

By R L.

from Palmyra, VA, US

These are my second and third pair of these gloves - I liked them enough to buy two pairs at the same time, since I am very hard on gloves. I bought these for swiftwater rescue work, since they have a leather palm for gripping when wet. They work well for that, and add some warmth as well. I liked the first pair enough that I wanted to have another pair on hand when they get destroyed. The first pair is starting to wear through the fingers from scrambling over rocks, but now that I have my back up pair(s), I am all set.

Great hand protection

These work great for protecting your hands while warm water diving.

Awesome glove, A+

By Jeremy S.

from Wisconsin, WI, US

At first it seemed to be a bit small when I put them on here at home but when i got in the water they were a perfect size!! I wasn't nearly as worried with these on when reaching shoulder deep in to caves looking for lobster!!!

Sturdy and Comfortable

By dyevaz

Used these for spearfishing. Really nice fit according to the size chart. I beat these things up and put them thru hell and back... It took a long time for them to start ripping at the seams of the fingers. Even then, I literally used them until all my fingers were poking thru

Good quality, fits as expected

By John D.

I'm always a little tentative ordering a "value" brand, but these are very good quality for the price, and fit exactly as expected from the size charts. A recommended value.

Liked them

I liked them and they fit well. Unfortunately, I lost them in St Croix after a giant stride entry off the pier.

Well Made Gloves

By Vinnie

These are a bit small, but that may change with more use. The Amara palms are flexible and durable.

Best Dive Glove

By John

I bought a pair of these Deep Sea gloves many years ago because I kept wearing out my others. They wore perfectly and gave excellent life due to the leather palms. After many years of use, they began showing signs of normal wear and tear. Unable to find a replacement, I kept wearing them despite the holes and stretched out Velcro wrist straps. Then I saw LP was carrying these fine gloves so I snapped up a new pair. Am I ever glad! Now I can retire my old pair and dive in comfort, knowing my hands are well protected once again. I highly recommend these gloves above any others. I am a dive instructor or twenty years and these gloves are simply the best I've ever found .

Good looking and comfortable

By Knight

They are good looking, comfortable and effective.

Great gloves

By Will

Gloves are very similar to the pair I bought last year @ $30. Good warm water glove. Size runs a touch small but I guess they will stretch once in water. @ $15, how can you lose?

Yep, the best...stitch for stitch.

By Mike

I've used a lot of gloves. A few from the list? Aqualung Kevlar Thermacline, Seasoft Seaskyn, Pinnacle Amara, Mares Amara...and on and on. So when I say, Deep See Waterfall gloves are the best, I mean it. I think I will buy another pair just in case I lose one or two on my travels.

Great glove at a very reasonable price.

By Diver D.

I learned the hard way about not protecting my hands while doing a wreck diving certification. I actually had the gloves but didn't start using them until I chewed my hands up inside some wrecks. I wore them from that point onward. I also appreciated having them when having to hold on to rocks or other objects when caught in current. It makes a world of difference at the end of the day. I would highly recommend these to anyone who might encounter any harsh environment. The one caveat is they are not for cold water. Yep, figured that one out the hard way in a quarry w/ ~ 50 degree water. I seriously would not recommend that trial again!! The gloves will work well under any 2 ~ 3 millimeter gloves and not cause too much loss in dexterity. Now for anyone that still can't figure it out, don't use these gloves in cold water you will be upset!!

very comfortable

By Sean

it s more comfortable than mares?this one is the best i have, very like it.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
R J  These are my second and third pair of these gloves. I use them to protect my hands while doing swiftwater rescue work. They fit well with the wrist cinch strap, have a protective palm, and are warm enough for cool water work without being bulky. I got the palms of my current pair coated with grease from a wrecker cable pulling a stolen car out of a river, so I needed to replace them and wanted to get exactly the same ones (as well as a spare pair for the future).
Carmine P  Needed to replace a pair of 1.5 mm Waterproof gloves, and just couldn't spend $50 on another pair of gloves that just lasted over 2 years. Those gloves probably had 50 dives on them.
Louis L  It looked sturdy. Fits well and it's a nice glove. I just wish it could be all black.
JOHN M  fits well, excellent wear
scott r  cost and good reviews
Leland H  price and quality
MICHAEL W  This is my second pair. I like the supple leather palm side. Well made, but not surprisingly, the tips of the fingers tend to wear out first.
BRIAN C  availability, price
WILLIAM M  Great gloves for the price. If you have purchased similar gloves and size fits right on, purchase the next size in this glove.
PAT M  Very strong reliable gloves
DANNY Y  These gloves fit my hands well and are comfortable to wear.
FREDERICK K  Warm water wreck diving off Fla. Keys
Michael L  Is the palm and finger material a lining over neoprene, or is there no neoprene on the palm and fingers?
Debra I  There is no neoprene under the suede on the palm-side of this glove.
EDWIN L  There is no neoprene on the palm, just the thick suede - like material. Very comfortable, I like them.
Debra I  There is no neoprene under the suede on the palm-side of these gloves
lei w  how much is the thickness for this glove?
