Good boot for quick on and off of strap fins.

Favorite Socks

By CHRISTOPHER B.

I've been through a few pairs of these amongst a number of other dive socks. First off these are socks, not boots. Some reviews liken them to boots, even suggesting them for open heel fins. Just... no. Definitely no. They're great socks with grippy soles. I get 1-2 years of regular use per pair before the heels wear out. They're the thickest socks I'm totally comfortable using with fins (full foot only!) as thicker socks (3-5mm) tend to be too much material between you and the foot pocket. I...

These are single-lined, thin, 2.5mm high stretch neoprene boots. The inside is lined in Metallite which makes them easy to slip on. The sole has an effective non-slip texture giving great grip on wet surfaces. They can be used with both full foot fins for greater warmth and to protect the skin from scratches and chafing, as well as with hard-soled boots, when using open-heel fins. When used in conjunction with hard-sole boots, warmth is considerably increased and if donned before your wet suit it is also easier to put on suit. All seams are sewn fro strength and durability. Non Slip 3mm boots are available in multiple sizes and are black in color.

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

William A  I need these socks for my size 13 feet (men’s)—Your XL size is too small.—Do you make larger sizes for “Big Feet” ?
Mario C  Thank you for your question. Though we do not make socks, some of the manufacturers we represent make larger sizes. One example is aqualung and it follows below ( size 13- XL). https://www.leisurepro.com/p-udrbenshtg/aqua-lung-ergo-neoprene-3mm-high-top-socks-with-grip Hope it helps
Shopper  Are these completely waterproof, or does some water leak inside? Would they work for keeping water out while wading or walking through very shallow water?
WILLIAM M  No
JEFF H  Yes, neoprene is waterproof and these would work while wading or walking thru version shallow water. If after a while you get water, then there is a leak in a seam somewhere which can be fixed with a special glue (aqua seal or something similar) and restored back to being waterproofed... I find after many many uses that I can wear out a hole in the bottom from walking on concrete or a hole in the front from my big toe. (Again, after wearing all day in fin, diving day after day...) Note that the sole on these is quite soft, and there are other neoprene booties with thicker soles which might hold up better.
JIM W  no
DMITRY G  These are wet suit socks, therefore water comes inside, warms up by feet keeping warmth with no water circulation. I don't think it's good idea to use them for waddling or walking to the bottom, because are for diving with fins.
Shopper  What is the height of the sock?
GERALD D  Mine are 8 1/2" from the heel seam to the top of the sock.
Shopper  If I wear 9.5 US men shoes, would I be able to fit into Medium size for this dive boots?
TOMY S  Probably Large will fit better. Tomy.
Steve S  Yes. The size Medium should fit you very well.
MARY C  I am a women's size 71/2 and I wear a small so I would round up to a large. Good boots great price. Good luck.
JEFF H  Close...I'm a 8 1/2. - 9 and they're not big...if you're close to a trip order both and return one!
JOHN P  I wear 9 1/2 shoes also and they fit me just fine.
KEVIN G  Yes
FREDERICK J  I would say that the medium boot would fit you. I wear a size 10-1/2 shoe and the large fits me well.
MARCUS H  Hi. I wear 9.5 US men's shoes also. I don't like big boots inside my fins because they make it hard to get the fins off when I am trying to get in the boat. The Cressis are not what I consider boots, more like a great neoprene dive sock with a good sole for walking on the beach or on the boat. I decided to try the mediums. They are snug, but not too tight. I sure don't want a loose fit. I would not buy the large size. Nice product, good fit, very pleased with the purchase. Dive safe and well! Marcus
DCTREASURES D  I wear 9.5 and my medium boots fit perfect.
GREGG R  Yes, probably. These are more of a dive sock, so if that's what you are using them as, you definitely don't want them to be too big.
ERVAN G  Probably not. The boots run "snug." Cheers.
PETER D  I wear a US mens 9.5 to 10 depending on the shoe. I bought the medium boots, they fit well
JOHN K  I, too, wear a 9.5 men's size and this fit well. It's cut fairly nicely, too. My food is wide, but, still fits well. I wear these inside full-foot fins and it makes for a nicely snug fit (not too tight), I no longer get toe-rub, and I get a little warmth, too. They fold (because of how they are cut) very nicely for packing, too. overall, a great product.
AFXU L  My foot size 25.5cm.I should buy what size?
HASSAN A  this means that your shoe size is 7 or 8 if you are diving in a cold water the boots should tight in order not to permit a lot of cold water to accumulate in the boot .. else if the water is not cold then medium size would be good ...
THOMAS S  Small
CEYLON L  Try to look for the size conversion chart on Cressi's web site.
JEFF H  I'm not totally familiar with non-US sizes, but I wear an 8.5 or 9 shoe...and a 25.5 ski boot. I got these in medium and they fit fine.
