Great bag!

Hold your bugs, abalone or treasure in this super collection bag. The traditional galvanized wire handle with closure clasp is easy to operate and securely fastens the bag closed when not in use. Bag is made from durable and self-draining nylon mesh, has a D-ring for attachment to clip, lanyard or line and a large-opening for that prize that awaits you on the bottom.

Bag is available in 3-sizes depending on your needs. The red small bag, measures 15" x 20" (38 x 50.8 cm), yellow medium bag measures 18" x 30" (45.7 x 76.2 cm) and the large green bag measures 24" x 36" (61 x 91.4 cm), so there's a bag for every diver.

Good but not great

These are designed to wear out so I spray them with tool dip to extend the life by at least two times. If not, they are designed to fray over time.

Great product.

Looks well built and of good quality. The price was right. Haven't used yet snow just melted.

Good buy

Worked great for an underwater dive clean up. It held up nicely to large objects.

Excellent Quality Mesh Bug Bag

Excellent Quality, like the wide opening and secure closure.

Perfect collection bag

Nice heavy duty bag. Stainless so will not rust. Clip to hold shut, big mouth to a put stuff through and heavy mesh. Also has a ring to attach to your person

Great bag, perfect size for the type of diving I do.

Arrived right on time.

Nice size!

By SherpaK

Bought this bag to help with milfoil removal. The yellow size is just right to hold what can be reasonably filled and passed to an on-board partner to be emptied. I am very happy with this bag, and looking forward to a nicer use for it ;-)

I've used this type of mesh bag for years for short term transport of dive gear. I also take it along when diving on live aboards or land based resorts to keep gear organized and ready to be loaded on a day trip. The SS hoop is a nice improvement from my previous bags.

Nice Bag

By CiskoWalt

This is a nice bag. It has a metal clip that can be used to keep the bag from opening. I would purchase a clip that has an extension on it so you can fasten the bag to your BC and hold the bag in your hand.

Great Bag

By Bulldog

I use this bag to carry my mask, fins and snorkel. It is perfect for the job.

Great bag!

Smaller Than Expected

Spec says 15"x20" but usable space is more like 11"x"13". Opening is ~8.5" diameter. Large enough for muscles, clams, and urchin gathering but too small for scallops and abalone. Will keep and also get the larger bug bag.

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
Doug T  I eat Abalone, crab, scallops, oysters, clams and what ever else will fit in these goodie bags and they're a good place to keep things while diving. I dive Washington, BC and Alaska year round.
PETER M  Classic all-purpose game bag. Can be used for gear as well. Drains and dries quickly. Low drag in water.
MR A  Hi name is Bruno Andujar,I am Scuba Diver. I bought this item because the price and quality is good. I will use for my dive school and shop as well.
JOHN O  I wanted a goody bag for underwater.
KEVIN J  Mesh bags have worked great around the boat. Use them to store conchs and fish while waiting to be cleaned. Or to haul accessories to shore, or store stuff on boat. Great product.
AUDREY O  This bag is great if you like to pick up shells or even to carry things for the beach.
Shopper  I have always preferred lobster/bug/goodie mesh dive bags for my gear. The largest size of this is a stated 36". Will this fit my cressi gara professional ld fins in a 12-13 size? They appear to be 36" when I measured, but I know that could be cutting it close. Would love to get this largest size bug bag if my fins fit. Thanks. : )
Ben T  Unfortunately the bag is a little too short to fit those fins.
Shopper  The "red" bag looks "orange." Am I correct?
CHRISTIAN A  No, the bag is actually red.
VINCENT L  Excellent choice and yes it is more orange than red.
Eric G  Mine was reddish orange. Scarlet/blood red it is not, true orange it is not... PS - Dark red is not a good color for bags since it is the first color to go as depths increase. As a rule lighter colors are easier to find if dropped - even in the shallows.
BRYAN S  pictures are sometimes hard to interpret but the red bag is red.
STEVE C  N o. I t i s r e d
JOHN L  No, the mesh bag is indeed red,at least the one I have is. Use mine for commercial work and seems to hold up fine as long as I dont abuse it.
