Good Wetsuite

By Drydocked

Great wetsuit. I am between sizes so I had to go with a medium that is hard to put on and take off but otherwise is a great wetsuit.

Great fit. Warm in those cold quarries.

By Blitz

I'm a big guy (wide not tall) and this fit well. Sleeves and legs are a little long but at 5' 9" I expect this on the wetsuits I buy off the shelf. It is not so long that it interferes with gear, warmth or flexibility. Used in last month in a quarry that was 47° at the surface and 37° at depth and I stayed plenty warm on two 40+ minute dives. Easy to get on and off (even with my recently repaired left shoulder) and I experienced no binding or chafing. Great price and very happy so far. ...

Many divers prefer the simplicity and comfort of a one-piece jumpsuit. These multi-thickness designs give added flexibility where divers needed it most. The thicker 7mm torso provides core body warmth while the 5mm thinner arms and legs allow for easier maneuvering and flexibility. Generously cut heavy-duty #10-YKK back zipper with pull tab leash for easy self-donning and doffing. The NeoSport Jumpsuit has an adjustable hook and loop fastener collar that provides a comfortable, non-confining stretch fit.

Flexible thermal bonded knee pads for abrasion resistance, Protect the high-wear areas of the lower legs. With an anatomical cut pattern this NeoSport suit is warm, comfortable and durable. All seams are glued and sewn, spot taped at intersecting seams with Lycra trimmed wrist and ankle seals all making this a strong and durable suit design for seasons of reliable service. Suit comes equipped with an internal key pocket for security, is black/aqua blue in color, and is available in multiple sizes.

Worst wetsuit I've ever owned

This is the all time worst wetsuit I've ever owned and I've been diving for 48 years. Despite being my standard size it is extremely difficult to put on and take off, primarily due to the legs being too small. Its thermal properties are worse than my 3/2 Tilos. It began developing substantial tears after less than 20 dives and now at about 50 dives I consider it toast.

Affordable comfortable wetsuit

By Preston N.

from Denver, CO, US

Used this wetsuit in the cold lake waters of Colorado. Water temps were 55F but with this wetsuit it did not feel like it at all. Construction seemed very sturdy and the fit was perfectly as described. Have only used it on three dives so far but looks like it could stand up to many more years of use.

After only 2 dives I love this wetsuit it keeps me warm and it is comfortable to dive in. I had to add a few pounds of weight to my bc but was totally worth it.

Neosport 7/5 mm wetsuit

By Marshall F.

from 33157, FL, US

Purchased two of these. One for my wife and one for me. We used them in the springs in crystal river fl. They kept us warm and comfortable while everyone else was freezing. Unfortunately the dive shop we went with gave everyone 3/2 mm wetsuits which was too light. The water temp was around 72 degrees and that morning the air temp was 53 degrees although it had warmed up by the time we got in the water. I was told they would be to heavy but we were glad we purchased them because it is no fun to dive when your cold.

ANOTHER Awesome LeisurePro Purchase!

By Ron J.

LeisurePro is our one and only source for dive gear. We have had such wonderful experiences with them that I took the time to email the President of the company a couple of years ago, and actually got a personal response! Our new 7mm wet suits are packed and ready for our upcoming trip to Florida to dive the Pensacola area. We tried them on and the sizing charts on the site were square on the mark! We are also thrilled the Henderson brand is MADE IN THE USA! All thumbs up from us!

I didn´t feel any cold

By Carlos H.

It is is comfortable but you need more weight (12 pound more)

A great suit for the $$$

By Scuba S.

A good suit for the money, I use this for cold water diving up here in New England. This suit is very warm 7mm.Not to sure on the knee pads they seem to be just a vinyl patch..will keep you posted on the wear of this.

VERY GOOD

By scroc

Suit has been great in 48-52 water, warm after 30 mins and i get cold easily. Minimal flushing on zipper area, no flushing apparent on seams or cuffs. Very good fit for me at 163 /5-8 with 39-1/2 chest

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
mark s  price
SCOTT W  diving in northern Michigan
Vicki Z  I chose this wetsuit for my students equipment and rental line because of its durability, flexibility and cost efficiency.
Lionel C  Two main reasons ... heading overseas and will do some diving in the Red Sea. But I will also be using this suit for diving in the great lakes in the summer as well.
Carlos H  because it is what I need
ROBERT C  to replace old one.
Felix F  Excellent value and has worked just fine so far. The sizing charts seem to be accurate as well. I bought a two piece John suit as well, sizing for the bottom is the same, one size larger for the jacket.
Colin T  I will be snorkeling in 65-75 degree water. I get cold easily - very easily! Would a 7/5 wetsuit be about right for me or do I run a chance of being too warm in this water temperature?
Shane M  I think most people might be a little warm using a 7/5 in that water temp. But if you get cold very easily, I bet it would work fine for you. I think it’s always better to be a little warm, than a little cold.
James A  The 7/5 should be fine for those water temps.
Blitz B  I recently wore this wetsuit in quarry that was 53 degrees at depth and I was in the lower thermal layer of the quarry for about 15 minutes. I was plenty warm and not the biggest of guys. 65 would be okay I think but an extended period at 75 I think you would be too warm.
DONALD M  No need for that thick a wet suit....go for 3milin body 2 mil in arms
brant h  I swim in Maine, with 62 degree water, and the suit works great for me. I hate being cold (I wear a shorty in Mexico), so I think you'll be ok. If the temp goes above 75, it will probably get a bit uncomfortable.
Shopper  I am considering this wetsuit, but do not know what size to get. I am 6'3", but only weigh about 155. It seems like I need the medium for my weight, but that will be way too short for my height. Other brands offer like a medium tall wetsuit and that fits me well, but this one does not offer this. What size would you recommend or is there another wetsuit in a similar price point that would fit me better?
scroc s  Looks like you will have to go with the Med/Tall in some other brand of suit. I am 160 and 5-8 average legs and arms and the Med fits ok but could use a bit more lenght in the arms.
KEVIN C  Well, all I can say is I'm 6'2" and 210 lbs. I have a large and it fits perfectly. The length is perfect and the width is snug, but they're supposed to be. Cheers, Kevin
