Defective on/off switch

Me and a friend had the same problem. To turn the light on, you have to unscrew it. Top side this is fine, under the pressure of 70 feet of water, doesnt work. What happens is as you loosen it, with the pressure it doesnt work the same and before you know it, you see bubbles and its ruined.

Good Light

Used light for the first time this morning. Very bright for a compact little light. Leightweight. Didn't really need the light, but just trying it out, will update again at a later time. Some fish were scared of the light though. lol maybe blinding

Not worth it

By Mike

I bought this light in Feb as a very last minute fix for the trip to hawaii. After the 5th dive it leaked water and died. Moral of the story - you get what you paid for. This light sucks.

Not for diving

By Lubbz

This is actually an amazing light, out of the water which is why I gave two stars and not one. I dove with it several times and it didn't leak until it was used. As a back up dive light it's questionable, since it would help in a bind, but the problem is when it was used it worked as well as expected but not for long. I'm not sure if it will ever work again since it's currently drying out, but I know for sure it will never be as bright as it was since the battery leakage has clouded the led reflector. At any rate, I'm going with a different light for my replacement backup.

Q&A

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

RA C  how deep can you take it?
STAN W  I've taken the light to 80 feet so far and have had no issues with flooding.
DOUGLAS M  Do not remember the depth it is recommended for but do know that mine functioned great at 140ft.
MARLA W  I'm sorry, I can't really answer this question adequately because I've only taken it on one night dive since I purchased it and that was just to a depth of 28 ft. But it functioned very well and provided illumination above that of larger lights being used by other divers. Hope that helped some.
