Top of the line knife; amazing holster

By JS

Great knife from Atomic. This thing oozes quality. It's made from Titanium so it won't rust. The holster is amazing; it slips in so easily but locks with a secure 'snap'. Removal is easy as well - slightly depressing the two buttons right by the handle let you slide it out. The button locations put your hand right by the handle for immediate and safe grabbing of the knife. Easy to get out when you need it but hard to accidently remove. Straps are standard rubber straps but have a nice plast...

Smouth and clean

By Jason K.

I love shaving my ball sack with this knife.

A dive knife is a tool a diver needs on every dive. Most knives are made of stainless-steel. A stainless-steel knife, if not cleaned and dried properly, will begin to rust. Titanium has a greater resistance to corrosion and is more forgiving then stainless-steel. Titanium is lighter weight then steel so it makes a more desirable tool then stainless-steel does. Light weight and corrosion free! This knife is durable, has an ergonomic handle grip, and is low profiled. This knife is beautifully crafted and has a honed full tang blade. The renowned Atomic design aesthetic is apparent in the molded plastic handle with finger grooves for a secure grip. A lanyard hole helps cold water divers with limited dexterity due to thick mitts to keep the knife within reach.

Cleaning is made super easy with the removable handle. The knife has a 4" (10.2 cm) curved blade which is ideal for cutting fishing line or kelp. The Ti6 with its positive locking sheath and push button release is easy-to-handle and remove from its sheath with only two fingers. Knife blade has both a serrated and a straight edge and is complete with a line cutter. The knife sheath like the knife is lightweight in design, made from durable molded plastic and comes with leg straps that are equipped with quick adjust buckles. The Atomic Aquatics Ti6 Titanium Knife is available in either a blunt or drop point tip model.

This product can only be shipped to U.S. addresses.

Outstanding dive knife. As with the rest of my Atomic gear, this knife did not disappoint at all. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good knife for any dive.

Buy it, you won't regret it!

By Ryan C.

from Dallas, TX, US

I was hesitant to spend the money on this dive knife, but I can tell you it was money very well spent and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. I purchased the blunt tip version, because this is an underwater tool and the blunt tip adds more value to my needs than the pointed. Doesn't rust, awesome build quality. Haven't needed it sharpened yet so can't say how difficult that process is. Only wish is that the knife handle came in different colors, in case I drop it the color will make it easier to find. Buy it, you won't regret it!

Great Knife

By Chief

Love the Titanium. Looks great and I don't have to worry about rust or corrosion. I got the pointed tip. Pretty sharp indeed. I like the pointed tip. I didn't buy a screw driver, I bought a knife. I'm a retired military guy and I've never owned a knife with a blunt tip. If I have to worry about sticking myself or my equipment I should probably take up another hobby. Just my thought. The handle has a good grip to it and the sheath is totally outstanding. The back of the sheath is curved to fit your calf very nicely. This knife is quality.

Great Knife

By Diving D.

The best thing about this knife is that it is easy to remove with either hand. Although I dive with neoprene gloves, I find the release mechanism on this knife is really novel and works well.

Another Quality Atomic Product

By BirdMan

I've owned several Atomic Aquatics products before and have always been pleased; the Ti6 knife is no exception. The blade is perfectly sized, definitely not a monstrosity and yet not too small either. I also found the hand grip to be appropriately designed with plenty of room to get a good, full grip and nice ergonomic contours. The release mechanism was a bit tricky a first but after some practice it became second nature. All in all, the perfect utility knife.

Excellent knife!

By Alex G.

Simply, a great knife! I got the blunt tip (as I'm not planning on stabbing anybody with it). It's extremely sharp, well built, easy to hold even with gloves and fits very well in its holder.

saved my dad

By navy m.

this is the greatest knife ever invented it saved my dad from a major tangle of fishing net off of north carolina the knife cut through the 1/4 inch net like butter get the pointed one because all the hype of stabbing yourself is BS you need to have at least one pointed knife very light so there isnt umf behind it but absolutely fantastic knife i love AA

I would buy this product again

By Vitaliy

Bought one for me and one for my wife for our Belize dive week vacaction. No rust. Very easy to wear. Elegant on leg, so my wife have no resistance to wear it :-) . Give us a piece of mind when we dive.

Atomic Does it Again!

By Klaus

I went for the blunt tip because I was confident that each blade edge was clinical enough in performance that I didn't need a dagger blade. The blunt tip also is versatile as a flathead screw driver when necessary. The knige is light in your hands but because of the titanium forged blade, this thing will never rust and perform 100% every time.

Top of the line knife; amazing holster

Great knife from Atomic. This thing oozes quality. It's made from Titanium so it won't rust. The holster is amazing; it slips in so easily but locks with a secure 'snap'. Removal is easy as well - slightly depressing the two buttons right by the handle let you slide it out. The button locations put your hand right by the handle for immediate and safe grabbing of the knife. Easy to get out when you need it but hard to accidently remove. Straps are standard rubber straps but have a nice plastic locking mechanism to keep them the right length. Fits very securely and comfortably on your leg. Knife size is perfect for any task - not too big, not too small. The handle has an amazing grip too. Comes with a smooth edge, a serrated edge, and a line cutter - everything you need. The blunt tip can be used for prying and chipping. Highly recommend this - get the blunt tip so yo don't hurt yourself!

Awesome Dive Knife

By SupahG33K

This knife is great. It's not too big, not too small. The flat blade tip makes it more versatile and less likely to inadvertently poke holes in stuff. Titanium is awesome since it will never rust too! The sheath holds the knife very securely, yet it's easy to draw with one hand; even in odd or cramped positions.

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
RAY T  It looked cool. However, when I got it, I was more than pleased. The locking/release mechanism is the easiest I have ever used in the 4 knifes I have owned over my 40 years of diving.
Shopper  pointed or blunt?
Ryan C  I always go blunt for dive knives. Remember you'll be using your dive knife as an underwater tool, not a shark assassination device.
LINDA P  Pointed
Loyal CA customer L  The knife I purchased has a sharp pointed blade.
EDD D  Pointed! Great knife worth every dollar.
DAVID W  When I purchased you had the option of either. I went with blunt as it is a tool not a weapon and it serves as a flat head screwdriver if needed.
EDD D  I prefer pointer. Worrying about puncturing equipment has never been a problem. The pointed is nice to be able to use to get thing open or started! Great knife worth every dollar. Edd
MICHAEL K  It's a matter of personal preference really. I go with blunt because you can use it as a pry tool or screwdriver in an emergency situation... To add you also can't easily stab yourself (or your equipment) with a blunt tip compared to pointed. If you are caught up in fishing line or kelp, you dont want to puncture your line or BCD right?! Some people might perfer the pointed end for use in piercing something in an emergency, but in all honesty this probably wouldnt help you anyway, and if the knife is sharp enough it should slice better than stab anyhow.
Shopper  does the blade extend thru the handle?
Sherwood P  I believe that it does, on the end of the handle there is a HEX type screw that you can remove which allows you to remove the blade completely from the handle. I will say this, I have had this knife with me on every dive, from Doria, U-869, to the shallow stuff since I bought it back in 2007 and it has never once corroded or let me down in anyway! It is a very well built, sturdy knife that should last you many years. Hope this helps.
STEVE B  Extend through the handle? I take it that you mean the top of the knife, and the answer to that would be - no.
WILLIAM T  Yes it does. Great knife
MICHAEL K  Yes blade is bolted on from the tail of the handle. I have had this knife for 2 years now 60 + - dives nice knife stayed sharp no corrosion.
