I would purchase this item again.

By Russell H.

I purchased a new weight belt that came with a "plastic" buckle that didn't feel right to me. I replaced it with this stainless steel buckle which is more durable and securely locks in position. I feel much more secure using this weight belt now! Thank You Leisure Pro!

Fussy about weights

I do not like integrated BCD/weight systems. I like a neoprene belt and simple buckle. After many years, my old belt needed replacement and I decided to replace the buckle at same time. This replacement is fine. Solid, secure, simple.

You just set up your equipment for the first dive of your vacation in Saint Somewhere and as your camming your weight belt buckle in place your buckle breaks! The worst thing that can happen on a tropical vacation has just happen no weight belt! Don't leave on a vacation without a spare weight belt buckle. Why ruin a great holiday because of a few dollars! Always pack a spare! Buckle is made of corrosion resistant stainless-steel. Buckle threads easily to standard 2" (5cm) nylon webbing or rubber weight belt. The buckle is a latch-style quick-release belt buckle design. Buckle makes a great save-a-dive-kit item.

Did not work for me......

Tried to use this with the Omer rubber belt I purchased at LP. Problem is that while the belt fits in the buckle the buckle will not close all the way to secure itself. Good product, but not for use with the rubber belt.

Good strong buckle for a real good price. Holds firmly and the material is thick stainless steel ,should last an eternity.

Gets the job done!

By SHAWN D.

Since weight belts are the first thing you ditch in a crisis, I don't see any reason to spend a lot of money on the buckle. This buckle does the job it is intended to....fasten a web belt with weights together! Buckles like these have been used in diving for 40 years, so how can you go wrong?

By Ron

MUCH BETTER THAN THE PLASTIC ONE THAT CAME WITH MY BELT

Stainles steel is STRONGER than plastic

By Larry l.

You won't have to worry about your weight buckle failing and ruining your dive!

I like the strength

By Larry l.

A plastic buckle I was using during a dive broke, when I put on my backup weight belt that broke also. I don't see that happening with the stainless steel buckle!

Durable Product

By Midevial

This is a high quality strap buckle that does not succumb to every day wear and tear like similar products constructed of a different material.

Doesn't work with the rubber weight belt

By Jax D.

i bought this to use with a rubber weight belt, but oh well.

What can i say?

By Swede

This buckle works as described. I expected it to be a little more "heavy duty". It is defenately much better than the plastic buckle that i had before. Leisure Pro should start to carry the Pinnalce buckle.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
NEAL R G  Old fashioned, but works well
Katherine N  Durable buckle works well. My husband prefers the metal ones to the plastic ones.
FREDERICK K  Back up belt buckle for my weight belt.
MARTIN D  stainless steel
EARL T  I prefer metal over plastic any day.
Shopper  does this belt work for anyone with rubber belts, i saw that one person said it didnt work well. looking for a second opinion?
ROBERT B  I used mine on a regular non rubber belt so I don't know if it will work on rubber. Sorry I couldn't help. Good luck.
Andrey Y  IMHO it is not top quality brand which means you may be lucky maybe not. The one I have works with rubberized webbing very well. If you can get DiverRite, scubapro or some else from top brands I would pay a few dollars more.
FRANK B  Sorry don't have a rubber weight belt. Works fine with my nylon web belt
PATRICK M  I put mine on a nylon weight belt and it has functioned just fine. No complaints from my experience.
HUGH R  I don't know because I did not try it on a rubber belt
JAMES R S  No it does not. The rubber is thicker than the standard web belt. It does not fit through the buckle well.
