Easy to use to attach and secure valuable items, such as my GoPro camera, to my BCD.

We always need to attach more stuff to our equipment to free up our hands when we need them. Lanyards for lights, cameras, gauges, game bags, or maybe even a fish stringer when spear fishing. Having a few spare clips in your gear bag is a must for the serious diver. It's a snap! This Quick Release Coiled Lanyard expands to 36"(91.4 cm). Simply unhook the latch with the squeeze-style quick-release buckle with your fingers and the coil is released, offering up to 36" (91.4 cm) of extension during use.

Lanyard has non-corrosive gate snap attachment on one end and barrel lock fastener lanyard on opposite end that secures position in seconds. There is also a handy split ring attachment included. Coil lanyard is ideal for use with gauges & underwater photographic equipment. This Quick-Release Coil Lanyard makes a great save-a-dive-kit item.

king kongs lanyard

Used it to attach Camera to BCD. Again, Plastic has a cheap feel to it. Will give your BCD that "Christmas Tree" Look.

Best way to secure UW camera and lights.

By PAUL P.

from Half Moon Bay, CA, US

The best method I have found to hold your UW camera and lighting units safely attached to the BC while you swim or exit a dive. It only takes seconds to unclip the stainless steel cable and have free access to the camera. Need to deal with current, a swim thru, or other challenge recipe the cable and the camera is firmly attached. On boat dives I can leave the camera until the last minute and then unclip to hand to the boat hand helping divers up the ladders. Great product.

Secure Lanyard

By THOMAS G.

I love this quick release coil lanyard. I use it to secure my camera while getting in and out of the water. Easy to use with one hand and strong. As always with Leisure Pro it is exactly as advertised and shipped quickly!

A quality product that will last for a long time

By JASON T.

from Chattanooga, TN, US

This is a good solid lanyard. I have two of these one has the clasp, and one has a magnet. Both are a couple of years Old have many dives on them. The one with the magnet option tends to break down and salt water overtime so the one with the clasp is the better long-term option.

One of the best lanyards!

By Selena W.

from Central Coast, CA, US

I have two of these that are extremely similar but I use this one for my Big Blue dive light or for my GoPro tray. Works amazingly well. Way better for me than one if those retractable lanyards because I'm not always fighting it to stay out. When I'm ready to keep it close, I just re-clip it and away I go!

Never loose anything negatively buoyant again

By Clay C.

from Clinton Township, MI, US

I spent $250 on a SOG knife, and then $25 on the insurance! Never again take an item out of your pocket, or your knife and accidentally drop it! It hasn't happened to me because I thought to myself, if I have to take my knife out for any reason (No not to kill a Great White) and fumble with it and watch it sink to the bottom and I don't have time or it went to deep to go after it. With this device, just pull it back up and it's yours again. After you open the clip, you have more than enough range of movement. Also, have one for my Nautilus Lifeline! They (Nautilus) say it is waterproof to 3' for 5 min with the cap open. So I can very quickly pull it back up again. I'm going to do a "Consumer" Test with it, next time I dive a pool and "hold their feet to the fire" if it doesn't work. I'm going to purposely let it hang off my BCD for 5 min and then pull it up and see if it flooded. Wish me luck, or should I say wish them luck! I hope their claim is accurate.

Just what i was looking for to keep my camera in tight.

By Leland H.

Keep my camera secure and ready when i need it with the quick release.

Great lanyard...

By bryanjames

It came as a package deal with my UK SL4 LED light. Works great with the light, and much prefer it over the included hand strap. It will of course work with any other items you want to attach to your BCD.

Bob S  Just needed something to be able to secure my camera while diving and not in use.
Barbara M  This item was on my daughter's Elfster Wish List.
Dave S  I've lost my BCD air hose knife on my last dive...so I'm adding this to prevent this...my last Sub Gear BCD knife safety latch needed to be lubed before my dive and I didn't do it, so the first time I used it, the latch didn't spring closed.
RUTHIE B  It has a long extension. I attach slate, whistle, and other small items. Not good for heavy things.
JAMES H  Good sturdy product. A bit bulky but it does what the manufacturer say it supposed to do.
LINDA H  These work great for my camera, light and other accessories that I like to keep close to me except when i want to deploy for use.
DAVID B  Works well as a primary light retractor
Bob L  Too long. I sent it back.
MARK D  Needed a lanyard for and UW Camera Rig that would allow a close hand ans well as an extension.
JOSHUA H  Came with a light.
JOSHUA H  Came with a light.
Felix F  Very handy, keeps your accessory close by yet unsnaps easily, even with gloves, to allow freedom of movement of your device when needed.
CHRIS L  Perfect computer and gear hanger.
JACQUELINE B  Easy to see my gauges when needed.
Arthur H  Is this item made by Cetacea brand as showed on the picture ??
KEVIN F  It is not labeled as such, no.
Nils J  Can anyone tell me the dimensions? How long is the holder from clip to the small ring on the end (lengthwise)?
COLLEEN S  End clip to end is 11 inches. Unclipped it is 17 inches. Unclipped and stretched it can easily reach arm length (or more)
Nils J  10 inches? Thats quite long to attach say your console isn't it? I mean when you want to streamline your equipment...
STANLEY C  When lanyard is closed (clipped together) about 10" L x 3/4" W. With clip open and using coil at longest about 3 Feet L. I use to attach to camera and D-ring every dive. Recommend you loop camera strap thur D-ring on lanyard. Probably 300 dives in this config and NEVER a problem...
