I Never Night Dive Without These

By Advanced D.

I love these small strobe lights, and never night dive without them. I attach one to the top of my tank and it allows my dive partner to easily see where I am. They are reliable and last a very long time. I used one of these strobe lights on eight, one hour long night dives over eight days and the batteries were still fine. The only draw back to this strobe is that it takes a lot of special batteries to power. Best use is as a personal beacon or marker.

Catches your attention

I wanted a bright, flashing beacon for night diving. This thing is brilliant and flashes slow enough that it shouldn't drain batteries but frequently enough that you would never lose track of it. I also love the fact that you can replace the batteries. Wish I had gotten three (will probably buy 2 more) - one for my tank, one for the shore entry/exit point and one for the dive flag. I got blue because that wavelength travels farthest underwater.

Good and Bad

I purchased 2 of these, one red and one green. The green worked with no issues. The red flooded. I took it apart, dried it out, resiliconed the orings and threads. The light actually worked again. Make sure to lube the orings and threads you should have no problems. The green light was more intense than the red for some reason. Great price over Glo toobs

Great flashy Light.

It's a great light for night dives. Easy to attach to regulator yoke, and flashes brightly. I leave mine attached to my regulator so I know where it is when I need it.

Excellent tank light

By GARY H.

Had this light for several night dives now and it's worked flawlessly. I have the blue one and as a DM usually hang out behind the students. After the dives, everyone remarked how easy it was to ID me even at a distance in less than stellar visibility. A must have if you plan on doing a lot of night diving.

I have two & they are great.

By David R.

As a NAUI instructor I use them regularly during night dives for Advanced students

good for night diving

By KAREN G.

These are great for marking yourself and buddy at night or even yourself as a leader. The flashing lishts make it easy to find the person and identify your buddy in low visibility. I have had several different types. I like this the best.

Used them all week...

By RICHIE R.

from Manassas, VA, US

Was on the Cayman Aggressor last week. Purchased the blue and green. I liked the blue better than the green. The green was brighter and a bit distracting. If that makes sense. Over all a great buy and a good night dive marker for my dive buddies.

Night diving accessory

By Ron

Better than luminous night sticks. Other divers were annoyed on surface before dive by brightness of strobe flashes, but clearly visable at night in Bahamas.

Light flooded on my second dive and would not work again. The one dive it did work, it was not very bright.

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
Richard W  I am taking the PADI Night Diver Specialty course and wanted something better than a glow stick. I also bought the constant on version of the same product. Reviews for both were great, as were the prices along with free shipping. Some reviewers bought more than one.
Matthew M  used before
LARRY L  Got this for night diving. Cyclumen sticks aren't allowed on many of the islands. This is much more eco-concious.
SAL D  Thin copper connector inside breaks after repeqated use. Good for two battery changes.
TARA B  Great little, lightweight light. Easy to see on night dives.
ROBERT C  I like to mark points along the way on night dives when it is just my buddy and me diving. Works very well. A good strobe is nice too on unescorted night dives.
Shopper  What inches are they?
DAWN G  These are short designed to go on your tank. They are about 6 or 7 inches long. About as big around as your pointer finger
HARRY M  About 5 to 6 Inches
JAMES B  it's about 4" to 5".
Shopper  Who make laser stick?
Frank L  The distributor is Innovative Scuba Concepts: http://www.innovativescuba.com/contact-us/. They might know who the manufacturer is.
