With the adapter on, I can use a shorter second stage hoes and no problem with the second stage pulling when turning your head to the left..:-)

Tired of your second-stage hose tugging at your mouth when you turn your head? Using an angled hose adapter can eliminate this annoying problem. Your second-stage hose will have a lot more maneuverability when attached to this angled adapter, giving you more freedom-of-motion during your dive.

Angled Adapter reduces hose stress and jaw fatigue. Adapter is made of marine grade chrome plated brass for strength and durability, fits between the second stage end of LP hose and attaches to second stage regulator inlet fitting. Adapter comes complete with O-ring, so it's ready to install and make a great save-a-dive-kit item. Easy to install and intended for low pressure use only below 200 psi (13.8 bars).

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

Shopper  What is the angle of this adapter?
John Y  45 degree
Eduardo M  Is this a moving or fixed conection ? How does it compare with a swivel ?
John Y  Is a fixed connection, I am using it with a flex hose, is cheaper to purchase a swivel and no maintenance.
DENNIS O  Fixed connection. Allowes your regulater hose to stay closer to the body.
bill g  will it reduce the airflow?
Marius F  Not noticeable as far as my experience. Just one more piece of gear to take care of, some lubrication and o-ring changing now and than-no big trouble
Paul F  I did NOT notice any reduction in airflow when i used it
KENT M  no, it is part of the second stage line about 140 psi. i found no restriction and would even accept some for the convenience of the comfort , and the less jaw fatigue by using it. hope that helps, Bill...
STEPHEN K  No it will not. Be careful i found this peice loosening up after a dive or two. Sometime the oring snaps if you tighten it to much. Also you might want to buy a longer low pressure hose for your regulator sometime with this adaption it tends to tug funny with a short stock reg hose. Just get one 6 to 8 inches longer. Thats the best tips for this.
Pete M  I have not scientific data to answer this question but I can tell you that I installed it on the rig my girlfriend uses and after a week in Wakatobi she saw no reduction in performance.
