  1. That isn't true about sea horses being the only animal in which the male cares for and "gives birth" to offspring. there are many other fish in which the male tends to the eggs and there are a number of different frog species (marsupial frogs being one family of them) in which the male carries the eggs around, they develop into tadpole on their backs and they deposit late-stage tadpole into water bodies.

    1. Sorry to break the bad news, but according to Wikipedia:”The term octopus, pronounced /ˈɒktəpʊs/, is from Greek ὀκτάπους(oktapous), “eight-footed”, with plural forms: octopuses /ˈɒktəpʊsɪz/,octopi /ˈɒktəpaɪ/, or octopodes /ɒkˈtɒpədiːz/. Currently, octopuses isthe most common form in both the US and the UK; octopodes is rare, andoctopi is often objectionable.”

  2. Ocotopuses is plural for octopus in the same breed, while octopi is plural for multiple octopus breeds. And octopedes refers to anything with 8 legs, and the only word recognized by Firefox spell check is Octopi.
