Why didn't I think of this before?

Great product to keep the weights off the hips and prevents that saggy belt feeling especially on those long hikes to my favorite abalone site.

 

Belt Suspenders work great

Aways had trouble with my belt falling down my hips tell I started using the suspenders.

Do you find that your weight belt always slips, and never wants to stay around your waist, suspenders work for pants, so it makes sense that they will work for your weight belt? Don't make another dive with your weight belt slipping around your thighs. Prevent this problem for good with these weight belt suspenders.

Suspenders are made of durable nylon webbing for strength and durability. Your weight will be evenly distributed with both front and back suspension, along with no compromise when it comes to safety with the two Delrin quick-release latch style weight belt buckles. Suspenders work well with extra heavy lead requirements, works with hard or soft weight belts and are excellent for dry suit diving.

RICHARD M  It will ride a bit high off the waist, but is adjustable. Do not trim the excess straps, you might want them. I have a pair attached to the belt and use as bandolero crossed in the front. Safe with the buckles with downward release. Works better with tech unit and not a tuxedo belt. Make sure your dive buddy understands the quick releases in the BCD check. rpm
TONY M  Do these suspenders work with soft weight type belts with pouches rather than 2" belts with hard weights?
KAREN G  Hi Tony, The soft weights would have to be in a pouch type weight belt, but it would work. I put my lead weights in a neoprene pocket belt to soften the load and the suspenders work fine with the pocket belt.
JOHN B  If you can find room to connect the suspenders next to your belt buckle on either side and in the back, should be no problem. So you need about 2 inches on either side of the belt buckle.

ROSS L  Yes they work with lead shot pouches up to five pounds in each pouch. I've used a total of forty pounds when using my dry suit.

Shopper  Can the suspenders be used with the pouch type weight belt? Are the suspenders worn under the BCD?
MATTHEW B  Sorry, I'm not sure about the pouch type weight belt. I bought this to use with my dry suit to hold my weight belt, but have not done any dry suit diving since I purchased it, and have not axtually used it yet. I would use it under my BCD, Sorry I wasn't more help.

ED C  Sorry but I can't be of help. I never ended up using them. I planned to rig it for a regular weight belt on a drysuit (looser belt=no pinch to trap air), but I ended up buying a weight integrated dive rite transpac bc with weight pouches. Ed
JOHN V  Yes, you need to wear the suspenders under your BCD. We use this type of suspender for fossil hunting in the rivers. You can only use this with a standard weight belt with weights. It's really nice, now the weight belt stays around my waist. You need to be very aware that you have to reach under your BC and around your waist to drop weight belt in case of emergency.
ROBERT F  They loop onto your weight belt, attached by loops in the suspenders. Worn under the BCD. A bit awkward to get into. I lost one of the peices from the shoulder adjuster to the belt loop.

LeisurePro S  These suspenders are designed to be used with a classic style weight belt. Your weights will need to be placed on the weight belt around your waist and the suspenders are for additional support and to relieve the pressure of the weights on you hips.
