- The Ranger was the first BC to combine high quality heavy duty construction, weight integration, and rear flotation Its introduction created a new category of buoyancy systems, and it is without doubt the most imitated BC in history! But its the Ranger's incredible versatility that keeps knowledgeable divers recommending it year after year Zeagle's modular construction allows the Ranger to transition between tropical travel diving rugged cold water diving in wet or dry suits, single or twin cylinders, and even (with optional bladder assemblies having up to 2 X 85-LB lift and easily mounted back-plates) technical diving!

- Constructed of heavily reinforced 1050 denier ballistic nylon, the Ranger is compatible with a variety of options and accessories, including bladders, pockets, hard back-plates, and custom gear attachment components With this durable design you also get Zeagle's time proven durable and rugged Bx Power Inflator System Now you can really rinse out the bladder of your BC Simply unscrew the Bx Coupler, screw on a standard garden hose, turn the water on and super rinse and clean the inner bladder If you are a diver who wants a rugged recreational buoyancy system, but also want one that can adapt and change to meet different diving needs, the Ranger is a system you won't out grow

The BCD is great. I have over 100 dives with it. I would recommend to purchase the weight pouches (handing up individual weights is a pain).

Comments about Zeagle Ranger Women's BCD:

This is by far the most comfortable BC I have ever owned or worn. I was going to purchase the mens Ranger, but the salesperson suggested the womens, and I am so glad I took their advice. The length is designed a little shorter for a womans torso, and the sternum strap is a little higher. Both features for me, make a truly good fit. I don't even think about this BC while diving. I bought this for drysuit diving, and it is perfect. The trim pockets in the back make it very easy to balance the added weight for cold water. I have also used this BC in the Red Sea, and again, it is perfect! The integrated weight system couldn't be easier, and accepts any type of weights that are available. Also, the pouches are far easier and cheaper to replace (if necessary) than on other BC's. We travel all over the world, and this BC gets packed and re-backed and always come out of the case like new. What a great BC.

Comments about Zeagle Ranger Women's BCD:

This BCD is great for women because the straps are spaced closer than the men's. I would recommend this one to anyone who needs a BCD with lots of lift. I use it for cold water diving and it works great. It might be a little bulky for travel. The only draw back is the weight pockets are kinda small.

Cindy C  What do you all think of the ripcord release system? And how compare to Scubapro Ladyhawk?
JENNIFER A C  I'm assuming the ripcord release you are asking about is the emergency weight release system. I personally haven't had to use it, but many of my instructor-friends have tested it and say it's fairly easy to re-thread. Overall, I absolutely love this BCD. I tried on the Ladyhawk for sizing, since I had to order mine. It's personal preference, but I like this because the sides are soft, versus the structured weight pockets. I have a small waist and don't like being 'poked' in the ribs or hips when a turn some weird direction. It also let's it roll up well for travel since I am always having to pack it.
