Comments about Zeagle Express Tech BCD:

This BP/W setup is my first and I love it. It fits me so much better than most jacket style BCDs and is easily customizable. I replaced the buckle with a metal one and added some D-Rings and Zeagle weight pockets to it. Fine quality and light weight.

Comments about Zeagle Express Tech BCD:

Diving the Caribbean means flying in and out of island locations. The BC is small, light and easy to pack.

The straps are easy to adjust and adding D-rings, changing the buckles and overall customizing this simple piece of gear makes it the best BC I have ever owned.

I have added two D-rings, changed from the standard front buckle to a clip type, converted the straps to the point that it is a whole different BC. Great job Zeagle!

Comments about Zeagle Express Tech BCD:

This is a very simple but sturdy BCD - I like harnesses better than jacket BCDs as they feel less cumbersome and infinitely adjustable. The only reason to get anything else would be if you liked way a steel backplate help distribute weight. The one piece harness takes a few dives to get used to, then you won't want to go back to a jacket BCD.

Comments about Zeagle Express Tech BCD:

The Zeagle Express Tech is a something of a hybrid between a conventional BCD and a backplate and wing rig beloved of Tec and Cave divers. The Express Tech combines most of the benefits of a BP/W (lightweight, small, flexible, easily adjustable), but it is in a single unit like a traditional BCD. It also has an enormous range of size - I bought this for my father, who weights in at 230 lbs, but (with tucking of the waist strap) it also fits my son who is 75 lbs dripping wet.

            Fits Anyone

Comments about Zeagle Express Tech BCD:

I made my first dive today using the 35lbs lift BCD and I liked it a lot. I am a big guy, 6'1" tall and weight around 310, 52 inch chest, 38 jeans. This BCD will adjust to fit ANYONE regardless of how big you are, even wearing a bulky 7MM wetsuit, which is the main reason I bought it.

The only negative thing about this BCD is that there are no D-rings or attach points for clipping on things like your back up regulator, slate, gauge re-tractors, whistles or anything like that. I am thinking about punching holes in the shoulder straps and pressing in tent/tarp grommets?

Also, the belly band connects the same way my weight belt does which could get confusing. You might go to dump your weights and release your belly band or go to adjust your belly band and dump your weights. To prevent this. I use a right hand release on my weight belt. So I re-configured the belly band to a left hand release which should prevent any accidental confusion.

Other than having no attach points I really liked this BCD and would highly recommend it, however this opinion is only based on one dive.

              Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
CHRISTOPHER B  This is a great BC. MInimal, light, packable - you don't need padding if you wear a wetsuit. Add a few D-rings and maybe a pocket, and you're set. I've even used this on shore dives where we had to hike for 15 minutes or so to get in, and was never uncomfortable.
Dave T  I'm close to purchasing this, but I'm adding up the cost of 'add-ons' such as a sport utility pocket, 2 weight trim pouches, sternum strap and D rings. My question is, with no shoulder pads, no sternum strap & no cumberband waist padding, just how comfortable is this out of the water?
STEVEN M  Bought it for my wife strictly as a light weight travel BC. She always dives with a shorty so padding is not an issue. Most if not all resorts have weights/belts.
