Great knife

from Columbia, SC, US

Very sharp. Doesn't rust. Great options. Very secure sheath. Useful features. Comfortable to use. (I've used it a few times) Only comes with leg attachments. I really with they built in a second attachment option.

Excellent full sized dive knife (almost too big for what I need)

from Morristown, TN, US

I ordered this as a full sized dive knife (titanium is the way to go) to go along with a small Z-knife I also carry. Honestly when it arrived, I thought it was a little larger than I needed (or wanted), I guess I should have heeded the measurements, but that's my fault. I thought it may be too large to dive regularly with, and I admittedly only wore it on about half of the 13 dives I did recently in St. Croix. But it was surprisingly lighter on my calf then I expected, and while in the water, I quickly forgot I had it on. Only when I was out of the water did I 'notice' it... it's actually more comfortable in the water than out. It is too large to attach to your BCD though (in my opinion, as I tend to have other small items taking up space on my BCD), it really needs a leg. That said, if you want/need a dive knife this large, it's an excellent choice. The other divers with me admired it as well, but we all agreed it was really too large for most people that just do vacation diving. For me, I may look for a smaller dive knife for regular usage, as I don't plan to go shark hunting (tongue in cheek). :-)

This knife is the real deal.

I own this knife with a Tanto tip and have nothing but praise for this very important piece of my dive gear. The big difference is a double sided blade with drop tip verses the sinlgle blade with the Tanto tip. I have no doubt that it will hold its edge as the Tanto remains razor sharp. Unless something really weird happens, l doubt I will have any need for another full size knife, but I am considering a smaller folding knife to clip on my BC as a back up. I do not believe anyone could go wrong adding this to their dive kit. I would also highly recommend the XS scuba neoprene knife wrap it is well worth the money.

I like the weight of the knife. Fit's well to my hand and is constructed very well.

Incredibaly useful

Great safety and sharpness

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
BOYD J  Heavy duty
NAUM S  after years of use still looks like new
Neil D  The "vented clips", (for a lack of a better term) on both sides of the handle. They look lIke they can be pried off for some purpose. On the blue they are blue on the yellow they are yellow. Just curious if they somehow lock in the blade to the handle or what??
IVAN K  These clips are manipulated so the blade can be detached (released) from the handle. I did this just once ( when I got the knife) and I didn''t find any benefit from it. And now I even don''t remember how I did It.
ERIN K  I have no idea. I thought they were more just for looks. I have never examined them closely to see if they could be pried off. So far I am very happy with the knife. It has not rusted (like all my previous knives) and it appears to have retained its edge.
Adam G  Is the handle rubber or plastic? Warranty?
enbassist e  Plastic with rubber trim. You won't have an issue with grip.
Frank L  Its plastic. 24 Month Limited Warranty.
