I bought these for my primary and Octo, they coil alot easier than the originals and there was no regulator pull even though the primary.hose is a couple of inches shorter than the original. These hoses are a bit smaller in diameter so my old hose protecters don't fit as snug but I don't believe I will need them anyway.
Best hose for a pony bottle

I have heard all the pros and cons of Miflex hoses, and in the end felt it was, as one person described it, a solution looking for a problem. Existing rubber hoses are more than sufficiently good enough. Why change from something that works to something else that also works.
However, I needed a new hose to use on my pony bottle. Miflex hoses are so flexible, they can easily survive the longterm storage folded up along side the tank without sticking 6-8 inches out from the first stage. Th...is, alone, made the hose the perfect choice. I then looked at the way I transport my regulators and decided these hoses are not looking for a problem to solve.
Aside from being extremely easy to see amongst the black rubber hoses on a dive boat, they bend and curve easily around things without needing a hose sleeve. No more tugging at the mouthpiece. They are comfortable to use.
They are sufficiently light enough that they are slightly positive.
MiFlex hoses feature a patent pending double nylon safety braiding designed to outperform and outlive traditional rubber hoses. MiFlex hoses are 30% lighter than an equivalent length rubber hose and have unmatched flexibility. You can tie a MiFlex hose in a knot and be assured of continuous, uninterrupted airflow. MiFlex Hoses have a minimum burst pressure of 3600 psi (250 bar), more than twice rubber hoses. Every hose is subjected to more than 30 performance and safety tests to receive the EN250 certification. Hose fittings are manufactured from UNI 12164 CW 614N chrome plated brass. The MiFlex Low Pressure Hose is available in multiple lengths and colors to fit any diver's needs. Hoses range from 6" to 1,200" (15.2cm to 3,048cm) and have an external diameter of 0.47" (12mm) with an internal diameter of 0.26" (6.5mm). Hoses come in a premium packaging that doubles as a water-resistant document wallet.

Will these fit the apeks mtx-rc 1st and 2nd stage?
darrick c
Hello Josh, yes these would fit the 1st and 2nd stage of the Apeks regulator.

Would this hose work with a Genesis 2000 regulator? Thanks!
KEITH P
Not sure I bought one for my Scuba Pro reg
Taylor C
Yes, as long as you’re using for the low pressure 2nd stage unit or your Octo.
JOE R
Does this hose allow the regulator to rotate 360 degrees?
RIC M
That feature is in the 2nd stage not the hose. The 2nd stage will rotate 360 degrees on any hose.
NED S
No, you have to get a separate swivel attachment
