Well worth it

By Buddy

Me and my girlfriend use to get in bad arguments whenever she use try to put on her Scuba Pro Twin Jet Max fins. She would get so frustrated. I got tired of them ruining our dives and days off so I decided to buy these. She loves them and even acts like she loves me. Now she can get her fins on and off faster than I can. She doesn't have an excuse to be mean to me anymore.

The Best Choice for Jet Fins

By DOCRADLEY

Well made, easy to install. The full pin attachment feels more secure than other designs. The half size adjustment is valuable when you are borderline on the size and need to account for a boot or boots of varying thickness. For classic fins like Jets and Rockets these are a must. Note that while these are easy to install there is some work involved in getting the standard buckles removed from the Jet Fins. Having a pair of End Cutters to clip the pins (wear safety glasses) makes this much ea...

Most spring strap systems are designed for a fin or style of fin strap attachment. XS Scuba takes the guess work out of knowing it fits. Universal Spring Fin Straps Kit contains 3-styles of 316 stainless-steel buckles bound to fit whatever fin you have. old school buckles for Turtle, Power, Frog, Twin Jet and others (see SKU's: XSSFTE, XSSFP, CSBFFP SCPFTM) large post buckles fit most modern fins and even a Small Post for Atomics (see SKU's: ATMFX1, ATMFS, ATMFB).

Springs are built-to-last manufactured from .025" (6.35mm) diameter stainless-steel with an internal cave line to limit overstretching of the spring. Fin strap is covered in heavy-duty nylon tube webbing, with a large sure-grip pull tab for ease of putting on and taking off. Straps are easy to install and come in 3-spring lengths of 8", 10" or 12" (20.3cm, 25.4cm or 30.5cm) with overall strap and buckle lengths of 10.5", 12.5" or 14.5" (26.7cm, 31.8cm or 36.8cm). So, if you want the benefits of a spring fin strap these are the ones you want.

Questions about this item:

Michael K  Has anyone used these on dacor turboflex fins?
darrick c  Hello Michael, I have not hear of anyone using this with that Dacor fin. If the fin post on your Dacor is a pin style. This would work for you fin.
Jehan P  are the straps sold as a single or a pair? is the quoted price for a pair?
Mario C  this is item is a pair
NOEL W  What size bolts are these to attach the strap to the the fin? I have lost one of the nuts...
DENNIS B  I also own these. And while I don’t know the answer, I am sure that if you take the bolt (or the other nut) to any hardware store, they will have a replacement! Just make sure you ask for stainless steel!!
RON S  Take the bolt to any hardware store ever, and use the thread sizing tool. Don’t make the Internet do your work for you bro.
NOEL W  Bro..I am on an island in the middle of the Pacific with no hardware stores. This was my only resource. Thanks for the invaluable advice.
BURTON D  The bolts are 3mm - .60 nylok
Shopper  I wear a size 13 bootie, and also size 13 shoes. Should I get the 12"?
JUAN A Z  12" would probably work. But what you should do is measure the size with a tape measure from the post to post of the flipper around the back of your heal. The measured distance is what you should have on the strap. The strap will give something like about one inch or more. I would buy on the lower measurement - 12" instead of 14" in your case. The strap will work properly even if it does not hold on to your heal somewhat loose.
BRAD W  I used the 10 inch with a size 11-12 boot on my drysuit. I think I still have plenty of room for another inch in the stretch. You could get the 12 and check it before installing. You do not want it too lose.....
FRANK C  The size strap to use will depend on the brand of your fin as well as the size of your fin. I think I put the 12 inch straps on my Scuba Pro Jet Fins. They are 2XL and they worked just fine for me. I wear a size 10 shoe and my boots are integrated in to my dry suit. Another thing you can do is put on your bootie just like you were diving. Then, measure from fin mount to fin mount. Measure across the achilles tendon just where you would want your strap to fit. Round up or down to the nearest strap size. I believe when they say it's a 12 inch strap that counts the mounts. Hope that helps out a little.
ROBERT L F  Is this the new XS Scuba Universal Spring Fin Strap that has the pull-tab in the center?
NEIL H  Mine did when I bought them but you don't need them. The newest version may not have them.
TROY T  Yes, the ones I received had the pull tab in the center.
CHARLES S  Yes
