You've been using your Pony Pac Harness (SKU: XSSPPH) for pool work and are ready to go on a tropical vacation. You would rather pack light, and not take your bulky standard BCD. We'll all you need is an air bladder and your Pony Pac Harness can be that lightweight travel BCD. When combined with the Pony Pac Harness the Companion Bladder is 40% lighter than traditional BCD's weighing in at a mere 5 lbs. (2.27 kg) and boasts 30 lbs. (13.61 kg) of lift capacity in a back-inflation style air cell.
Easy to install, back inflator design with rear pull dump/over pressure relief valve on right side. Use your standard BCD cam bands or get a couple of extras (see SKU: XSSTB) and you're ready to dive. The Companion Bladder also has the time proven and reliable Alliance Inflator Mechanism with a BCD low-pressure QD hose for attachment to your regulator first stage. The Alliance Inflator has a cable activated pull dump valve assembly at the top of the inflator mechanism for easy buoyancy control. The Companion Bladder has a durable nylon outer bag with a strong and reliable urethane inner air cell.

Will a scubapro air 2 fit on this bladder? Is there an adapter?
JERRY D
I used this with a 40 tank for off shore diving got the back pac also leisure pro
very please with product always us leisure pro when I can, Jerry Devore

The SP air 2 will fit because it attaches to standard LPI hoses and comes with the adapting connector. Don't buy from LP though - they are dishonest. I purchased a high end dive computer that was defective and they denied replacement. Said they sent it to Suunto who denied warranty replacement. I contacted Suunto and they had no record of it. I sent it directly to them and 2 days later they replaced it as defective so LP never sent it to them.

From looking at the XS Scuba BC it looks like it would. I'm guessing the inflater hoses are a pretty standardized size. Have Leisurepro take an AIR 2 over and make sure.

does this wing have a single tank adapter sew or as part of the wing?
MICHAEL H
This bc is made specific to their tank harness. Will not easily work with anything else. With their harness needs no single tank adapter . You will need longer tank straps to accommodate an 80. Harness comes with straps for a 30 or 40 cu ft. I like the set up for lite travel diving . I used it in Bali and was good. And very lite to travel with.

Your question is difficult to understand, can you rephrase in a clearer way?

I dive in Monterey but my ocean weight is only sixteen pounds, will this BC bladder provide enough lift for me?
MILT R
Yes, it will provide enough lift. If you haven't used a back inflate BC before; you will want to bias your weight to rear, to counter the push it gives forward, especially on surface. It's not bad but noteworthy.
SAYAN M
Saltwater gives higher buoyancy than freshwater. Since your ocean weight is 16lb, I estimate that your freshwater weight would be less, say about 13.5lbs. In either case, the bladder will provide more than sufficient buoyancy for you to maintain neutral and have capacity to raise at least additional10-12lbs.
In summary, yes.
SUSAN E
Yes it should it provides up to 30 lbs. of lift.
