Questions about this item:

kresnanto k  what is that mean complete set? 1 set as 1 female+1 male ?
DONALD B  Yeah, I was confused the first time I bought a "complete" set of these things. Thought I was getting a pair of complete sets, but what you actually get is one set of the male and female halves of the book screws. In short, I had to order another "complete" set so that I could anchor my wing to my backplate.
kresnanto k  The only concern i have is the gap when fully closed. I need to mount my backplate to the single tahnk adapter but there is a layer of think pad/harness in between so i would say i will need 15mm clearance.
AARON C  One male one female
Shopper  How long / tall is the post on the female end of this set? I.e. when the set is screwed together, what is the clearance between the two inner faces of the set?
DONALD B  I don't have a mic handy but according to my metric and standard scales, clearance between the two inner faces, when tight, is about 10mm or approximately 3/8". I have a couple of these things from the same manufacturer and they are not identical, but the difference is negligible. If you're dealing with tight tolerances then I'm happy to mic the distance when I get to work in the morning. Otherwise, I think 10mm will get you where you need to be. Feel free to ask additional questions. Regards, Don
