Do you think that this would be a suitable watch for realitivily shallow dives? 100ft or less?
no night dives or anything. just recreational diving?
yes! its very durable too.. night dived with this watch one time - 60 feet - and i just love it! i recommend this watch for regular outdoor & recreational dives..
It will be good for 100' dive. Just check that winding screw is tight before going down - because I found it tends to unwind while you are preparing other gear. True advantage of this UZI you could find on a night dive - this watch has tritium which means it will glow bright without a need being charged by day/flashlight. I also found that traditional hands are working better for me in low visibility compared to digital display and give me a sense of both - dive time and day time (the last sometimes is important in your dive plan).

This watch is perfectly adequate for your type of diving. Battery life is excellent, time keeping is accurate and the luminous dial is a real plus. Looks great with casual street attire and requires no maintenance other than washing off the salt water.
Fantastic. thanks alot for the quick reply. Ill probably snag one of these while i can.
