Uwatec Meridian Wrist Computer, Black Tech Features
All parts except button modules (x4) and back cover are Black Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coated. This is an additional coating that comes on the already 316L stainless steel parts of Meridian. Apart from the very nice and very esthetic matt black looking, this coating reinforce Meridian case against scratches and chemical attacks
WARNING: Please note that the coating does not eliminate the possibilities of scratches on the case

Explain battery replacement, user or company or other?
YAN G
Manufacturer recommends the battery be changed by an authorized dealer.
FRANK N
Although battery can be done by any watch repair shop or yourself, the indicated O-ring is not available through Scuba Pro and the units must be sent back to the service center, ONLY THROUGH AND AUTHORIZED DEALER. Currently mine has been out for more than a month just to give you an idea. Functionally it is a great computer and I usually us it as a backup to my Uwatec SmartTec as they run the same Algorithim. If you don't mind sending your watch in every 9 months (based on usage) then it is a great computer/watch. Mine is for sale if your interested in it.
Shopper
does the USB cradle accessory come included with the purchase?
DANIEL E
It does not come with the cradle.
FRANCISCO C
No, just watch.
SANDRA K
No, the cradle does not come with the purchase. However, it does come with a nice water safe box to take out on a boat and store small valuables in.
FRANK N
No it is not air integrated. It is the ONLY drawback to this computer. I actually use it as a back up to my air integrated Uwatec with the same algorithm.
Matthew G
What is the difference between the Mairidian and the Meridian Black Tech besides the color?
FRANK N
Matthew,
Absolutely nothing. I have owned both and actually prefer the Black Tech. The finish seems to hold up a bit better than the brushed stainless that immediately shows a even the smallest scratch. Not sure if I have just been more careful with the Black Tech, but I have had this one so far as long as I had the stainless model and do not have a single scratch.
Hope this helps.
Frank
JORGE G
what is the size of the numbers displayed in the dial?
FRANK N
Michael is right, the numbers are not that big, but I have had no problem seeing them in any diving condition.
MICHAEL C
This is a watch style dive computer, so the numbers are not that big.
