WHat is this light? I know that for fluro diving you can use a blue light and yellow mask filter, or a UV light and no filter, but which of the two is it? Or is this just a regular led light with a blue body?
CHERYL J
A (blue) UV light. No filter or mask needed. See the UK website for more info and photos of underwater views.

This is the 455nm Blue light that needs the yellow filter. I also have the 395nm UV light that fits on the same body. Personally I like the 395nm UV light but it seems like everyone else likes the blue light.

It's a UV light with a defuzer lens on top. It's very bright at 400 lumens. Got it to try on the west coast.

I preordered this and it came in as the blue verison and not the true UV (395 wavelength) version. After speaking with customer service I returned it no issue and was credited. LP told me they wouldn't be getting the 395 UV version so I searched elsewhere and order it. as of 9/28 the 395 version was still on backorder from UK so I cancelled that order. Got the UK aqualite UV version instead and it is awesome (tried it in grand cayman). This was a nice light but I didn't want the blue light w/ filter. the 395 UV version works amazing at night.

Does the part "Ultra Violet" means that this light is designed especially for fluodiving ? And if the answer is positive : what is the emitted spectrum ? Unfortunately I can't find any specification of this light on the site of the manufacturer.

Yes this can be used for flurodiving. The manufacturer does not provide spectrum details you can contact them at 858-513-9100. or email info@uwkinetics.com

Will the head from the SL4 eled L1 fit the body of the regular SL4?
