Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
JOHN B  I purchased this battery charger because it is used to recharge the Universal 8 C-Cell for the Light Cannon.
DAN D  Charger came with the battery...I did not choose it.
Shopper  Can I use this product in Australia without another adaptor also I want to use this for my uk cannon 100. Should this be ok ?
JAMES B  FWIW, I noticed one answer suggesting that you will need only a physical adapter for the different plug configuration. The UK charger I bought for my Light Cannon clearly states an input voltage of 120V only. Since Australian receptacles are 240V - 50 Hz, you will need an Australian plug adapter that has a 110V or 120V output. No doubt they are readily available.
GARY M S  yes, this charger will work with the UK Cannon 100, i don't remember what electrical system you have in Australia, I was only there once years ago but this charger is a 120v AC charger if you have a 240 system you will need a transformer. The picture shows the plug setup so can tell what they look like.
WALTER C  Hello The charger is good for the C-8 and cannon lights in the U.S. However -- the charger will not work in Australia without an adapter/converter -- the plug will not even fit the receptacle. Recommend an adapter and a power strip if you have a lot of rechargeable goodies. Good Luck
STANLEY H  Please remember that this is a trickle charger and will take 12 hours to charge the battery pack completely. This charger is nice and small for traveling. I highly recommend purchasing another battery pack so that one will be ready to go when you put the first battery on the charger.
KEN M  You should be able to do this as most modern electronic adapters can handle input between 110-240 volts and output the correct voltage/amperage that the adapter was designed for. You may need the adapter for the physical plug or UK may make the specific plug adapter for Australia that can replace the plug assembly that came with the charger.
SUSAN W  Sorry, I don't know. Have ask the manufacturer.
Tlahuizcalpantecutli S  Can I use this charger for the D4 Nickel Cadmium rechargeable battery pack ?
Tlahuizcalpantecutli S  Thank you for all your comments they are really helpful !!!
ROGER A  As long as the pack is 12 volts it should work.
JILL J  We don’t use a battery pack for our light. My guess would be no because the photo of the charger looks like it is only a ac/dc converter.
TARA T  I bought this for my husband. I recommend it-much more earth friendly plus much cheaper than replacing batteries at a dive resort. It doesn't have an indicator to show the charge levels. My husband plugs in the battery pack at night, it's good to go in the morning. There is not much guidance for how long to charge--He has noticed the battery pack will warm up a bit as it charges. Good value.
STANLEY H  I think you should NOT use the same charger for both types of batteries. The C8 type of lights and rechargeable battery is twice the voltage as the pack for the D4 pak. Yes, both chargers are trickle chargers but the voltage is a factor of 2 different.
