I want to buy a new semi dry wetsuit. Problem is that I'm very tall 5'11.5" and quite slim. My upper legs are quite muscular and I have long legs.
Question, is there someone else that is tall or taller than the size chart says for their size?
Also my measurements are 145 lbs, bust 33, waist 29, hips, 37. I was thinking of buying the 10long one. my weight is a bit more though, but my sizes are smaller. Do the chest, waist and hips run true to size, a bit small, or a bit big? And is the length true to size?
Would help me A LOT! Thank you :)

I am 5'8", 130 pounds, and I have a 34 inch inseam. I have the SolAfx in 8 long. I love the suit (it is wonderfully warm and much more user friendly than the traditional farmer jane and vest), but it is just barely long enough in the legs and arms. I could definitely use an additional inch or even two.

Sorry, my build is very different than yours. However, you will love this suit.

Don't know how much this response will help, but here goes.
I bought -- and returned -- this suit last December. I'm 5'6" and slim, though not as slim as you, and ordered a size 8. The bottom half of the suit fit okay, but it was way too roomy under my armpits, a problem I've run into with other suits. The worst part of the suit, though, was getting the hood on and off. Perhaps you're used to this style, but I've never had an integrated hood before. The hood was so snug that pulling it back over my head to get it off really hurt my neck. I guess it gets easier with practice, but between that and the baggy arms, returning it was an easy decision.
That said, I know another female diver who has this suit and loves it. So it's a very individual thing. If you can get free return shipping, give it a try. If not, go on a scuba board and try to get some info from divers who use the suit. Good luck!

Hello, this wet suit is GREAT! I,ve been diving in it for a year and is is nice and warm. It is very flexible and can accommodate the body type you describe. My dive buddy is a woman who is 5"10, 160lbs, with very muscular legs as well. We tried these suits on at a local dive shop just for sizing purposes and then bought through LeisurePro for the great price. She ended up buying a men's instead of a women's.....to accommodate her long legs and longer arms. But the women's long would have worked. I wear the women's....and am not so tall, but they are really the same in comparison. If you are able to go try on in a local shop for sizing it would be helpful. But I can assure you they run very true to size and have a lot of give to accommodate body type. Definitely go with the long!

Hi,
I might be able to help with part of your question. I did NOT find that the wetsuit sizes listed were a great approximation for fit. I am not particularly tall 5'7", I weigh 142. I wear a size 6 in this wetsuit and it fits me perfectly, according to the size chart they would have me in a 10 at least. I believe I might have a slightly older version of this wetsuit, i purchased it a few years ago, but the size charts are the same. I had tried on aqualung wetsuits before though and had an idea of my size. I would recommend going smaller than a 10, besides your height, your measurements are very similar to mine. I can't help much with the length though, good luck!
I do love this wetsuit, I have done over 100 dives in this suit in water as cold as 49 degrees and stayed warm.

Sorry I can not help you with your question but I can give you some advice... Leisure Pro is no an authorized dealer of Aqua Lung. I bought the men's solafx (which I love) from here and it had a rip in it and Aqua l

I would not worry. If it doesn't fit leisure pro will except it back and issue a different size. Do not get the suit wet. I would go tall. These suits stretch and in my opinion are the best for Cold water diving. I dive California and I can do multiple dives a day with this suit.
