Good Basic Bag to Haul What You Need

This is a really good no frills bag. It may not be big enough for some people. It holds my BC, regs, mask, fins, snorkel, booties, etc. Basically everything but a wet suit. The fit for those items is good. I think it would be a tight fit to get a full size wet suit in there also but without a wet suit the larger bag would be half empty. I load it up, through it on the plane (without regs) and drop it on the boat. No problems. Think Chevy or F150, not Lexus or Porsche. It's a durable ...

Way too small

This bag looks great, but is not designed well. The zipper, being straight across, is not a good design because there is too much stress on the ends of the zipper. Further, the bag is way too small to hold diving gear. I'm very disappointed that Aqualung would have such a terrible design. I own an EXTRA SMALL women's Aqualung BCD and the bag is so small that my BCD alone will barely fit in the bag. There is no hope to get any of my other diving gear in the bag.

Bomb-proof dive bag

from The GasHouse, NC, US

Love this bag. Very rugged and well made. I really like the quality of the materials. Enough room for fins, couple of masks, snorkel, wet suit, BCD, all my dive gadgets (knife, camera, scissors, rattle, save-a-dive kit, etc.) and dry bag for wallet, phone, towel, etc. This bag has one compartment, no dividers so you have to organize with either smaller mesh bags or containers. Makes for a good dunk bag, too.

has to be one of the best scuba purchases ever

from Phoenix, AZ, US

I love this bag. fits fins and everything and fits in the overhead compartment in the plane. I bought a shoulder strap for it because when traveling it is hard to carry everything and this bag too. I believe shoulder strap is a must.

Right Size

from Dothan, AL, US

This medium size mesh bag is just the right size for 2 sets of fins, dive boots and regulators for my wife and I to take from the room to the boat.

Bomb proof, well made, gear bag

Zippy fast, as always.

great bag.....needs strap

I love this bag. 5 stars. I used it on a recent dive trip and it was great. the bag when buying it says it has an "optional" shoulder strap. what is this? come on it should have a good strap with the bag when you buy it. would I buy it again. don't know. like the bag but if I found another good bag with a strap, I would probably go with another bag. buyer beware. you will need a strap at some point.

Questions & Answers Powered by TurnTo®

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
WENDY D  Perfect for Scuba gear.
GARY M  Great quality, quick way to dunk-rinse all of your dive equipment, less chance of leaving an item on shore or in the dive boat.
LARRY L  Got this to organize and carry all my dive gear.
OTTO S  It is the perfect size for two people going on a diving or snorkeling holiday and sturdy enough to check it on an airline. It can also be used as a carry-on. We just came back from snorkeling with humpback whales and we took two sets of wet suits, booties, fins, masks, and snorkels and there would have been room for regulators as well.
Shopper  How many sets of snorkle gear will it hold?
JIMMY M  We use our two bags for full dive equipment and when traveling they hold fins, large BCD (mine), skins and wet suit, mask, snorkel, booties, dive lights, accessory/weight bag, and also items such as sandals, beach towel, swim suits. Visualizing snorkeling gear only I would imagine 5-6 sets of snorkel gear should easily fit.
GRANT H  Depending on size of fins, this bag can easily hold 4 set of snorkel gear. This bag holds alot of gear and is easy to carry or wear.
MIROSLAV N  I can easily fit two sets plus a couple of big towels and a few smaller items.
DONNA B  This bag will hold several sets of snorkel gear, at least three or four. Even my husbands huge fins fit inside. We are enjoying using it.
GORDON W  It will depend on the size of your fins. It will certainly hold two sets, maybe 4. We use them for scuba, and have no trouble putting in mask, fins, snorkel, 3 mm shortie wetsuit, and our consoles in our regulator bags. Don't remeber if the shoulder strap was included or not, but highly recommend buying the strap, if not.
JOHN H  It depends on if you have a wetsuit and how thick it is. I love this bag and use the same design for years for my cold water gear: a 7mm jacket and farmer-John, hooded vest, 2 pair gloves, booties, snorkel, mask, fins, flashlights, and I still have room for a liter water bottle, large changing towel, and my regulators. The only things I carry outside are tanks, backplate-wings rig, and weightbelt. So, if you have a thin wetsuit and just skin gear, you could probably fit 2-4 sets. If you just have snorkel, fins, and mask, you could fit a LOT of them.
Shopper  How long is this Mariner bag?
LeisurePro S  This bag comes in two sizes--the medium (sku UDRMMB) is 26.5" long and the large (sku UDRMMBLR) is 28.5" long.
