A solid purchase. I love these fins. I don't feel like I need to pay any more for a fin. Super comfortable and great propulsion. I have the "giant" fin and am a size 13. Not too stiff, or too flexible...just right in my opinion. The only drawback I can think of when using this great fin is when you board a boat at the end of a dive the fin momentarily creates a suction upon removal, making it a little difficult to come off at first (especially in choppy seas). Despite that, this is still my next pair of open heel fins.

I like the snap buckle design however the female pare that swivels can come off while trying to connect the back strap. It happened the first dive and we needed to search for it because it fell off the dock into the water. They clip over a post on the fin but because they need to swivelyou can't glue them in place. we now just leave them snapped and loose, put them on and tighten them

Comments about Aqualung Aqua Lung Caravelle Open Heel Fins:

I haven't used these in open water yet, but when it comes to ordering online, the fit was very good. The size fits a wide array of foot sizes: I am a women's 8, my son is a men's 8 and my husband is a men's 10; and we all wear the same size fin.

I have been diving with these fins for over 2 years now and they are the first and only fin I have been able to use, and use with comfort, because of my high arch and wide foot. Excellent propulsion and they get you where you want to go!

          Questions about this item:

Shopper  Is aqualung caravelle a good selling name brand?
KELLY B  I bought three pairs of these total, one of which I use myself. They are lightweight, easy to adjust in the water and out, and make it easy to extend your kicks without bending your knees, which is especially helpful for new divers. I have had no problems with them and they store well without cracking or discoloring. As for whether they are a good-selling name brand, I would assume they must be, as most of our fellow divers use them as well.
Shopper  how to tell between a man and woman fin?
LEO Q  Besides color and preference there is really no difference between man and woman fin...Some fins are made pink which is a preferred color for females but if a man wants to wear pink fins then they become unisex again. In other words, just pick a set of fins that you are comfortable with and that fit you right and go with it. Leo
