They work for both, sized for men; it is more about a swimmer's expectation. I am a man and just bought a replacement set for my originals that were 10 years old. I use them for shallow water spearfishing (10 to 30 feet) as they work well when swimming horizontally; not recommended for free diving over 40 feet. I have several other sets of these for our daughters who enjoy free diving for lobster. My wife (we are 60 years old) prefers a softer fin.

How do the sizes run compared to regular shoe sizes? I got a 6-7 since I wear a 6 1/2 but it was very big. Now I wonder which size to get.
LAURIE W
I'm surprised. I am a male (Laurie is my wife who placed the order) who wears a 10.5 shoe, has a relatively wide foot near the front and a narrow heal. The 9.5-10.5 size fits like a glove.
Now are you a male or female, since shoe sizes run differently? If you're a female, then you should be looking at a fin size 1.5 sizes down, so whichever size corresponds to a 5. Unlike two other brands I tried, these fit true to size.
MICHAEL C
Are you a woman? If so, that is because all the fins come in mens sizes so if you are a womens 6.5 then you would need a size 4-5.

Tried a pair and they worked well. I don't always use fins, but when I do, these work very well.
