What is the bag size? How much will fit in it?
I'me acually on vacation with this bag right now so don't have a tape measure. However I can tell you it will fit my Seawing Novas (which are stupidly long fins to travel with), My Bc, wetsuit and all gear. The problem lies in the fact that the bags opening is a single slit opening, and doesn't run the full length of the bag, so trying to lie a Bc in is a but awkward. If I had to do it again I probably would not get this as a primary gear bag. I am jealous of my wife's backpack style bag with giant flap opening, and a slit zipper down the other side that you can grab stuff out of in the middle of the bag (I believe it's the aqualung 250). In any case I'de go for something with a better opening. And mabey one small zipper pouch built in for keys or zip ties and such.
I bought the bag for my daughter she is small. It barely fits her full set of gear. Definitely too small for me.
This is the smaller of the two mesh bags that Aqualung makes. I have both. This is a warm water dive bag. I can fit my mask, snorkel, fins, 1mm wet suit, boots, gloves and regulator. It does not fit my BC.
The larger bag, the mariner, fits all my cold weather gear (all of above but 7mm wet suit and BC).
Really nice bag but not big enough for all dive gear-, regulator, snorkel, mask, fins, computer, would all fit nicely. Not enough room for BCD and wetsuit. We're using ours as a snorkel-gear bag. Good quality.
The bag dimensions are included in the product description. I would describe it as a large duffel/gym bag. I typically fill it with my mask, fins, snorkel, random dive accessories, and my wetsuit. My aqualung Pearl doesn't quite fit, but I've thrown rental BCs which are more compressible into it. So, overall, it fits just about everything you need. I would not recommend throwing your weights into the bag. It's mesh and sewn so the weight can cause it to stretch and wear.
hope this helps!
There is space for 2 fins; a pair of booties; 5mm one-piece wetsuit; regulator; mask; weight belt; with just enough space left over for a small BCD. With careful packing you might get a 7mm one-piece wetsuit in instead of a 5mm one-piece, but not more than that.
Despite it's assurance to fit an entire set of gear, it did not accommodate my fins, BCD, reg and mask, not to mention the wet suit. So, it went back and I got a Mares bag instead -- very spacious indeed
The bag is roughly 26" long X 12" in diameter. My wife can fit her fins, mask, wet suit, regulator w/ octo & dive comp, camera, sun tan accessories and spare clothes in it. Pretty much everything but the BCD fits. If you had a travel lite BCD that collapses down, it may fit.
