Comments about Tusa TUL-1000 LED LIGHT:

This light is the same light as the Light & Motion Sola Dive Light. I bought this light to mount to my OTS Guardian Full Face Mask as seen on the OTS website. Don't pay more for the " Light & Motion " name. It actualy says made by Light & Motion on the side of the TUSA light. This light is top quality and super bright.

Comments about Tusa TUL-1000 LED LIGHT:

Powerful compact light that can be used as primary or back up light. I really like that I can use it as a spot or flood lamp. Looking forward to using my trip to Malta.

            Questions about this item:

Shopper  What is the light tempeture in Kelvins?
SCOTT M  An honest answer is "I don't know". I use mine as an U/W flashlight, not for serious photography. This light is simply a TUSA-branded version of the equivalent Sola light , and Sola's product literature doesn't say. However, I can make two observations: (1) This lamp uses so-called "white light" LEDs, and the spectral distribution of those is pretty uniform among LED manufacturers, and (2) the concept of Kelvin temperature is based upon incandescent filaments, so it's somewhat meaningless for LEDs, which have rather different spectral distributions, but Google "white led spectrum" for a lot more information about this.
Shopper  How are batteries replaced in this light? Do you have to send it in for service?
ANDREY M  Just unscrew handel and remove cartridge with 8 AA bataries Tread have doble ruber ring seal.
Christopher V  Is this the same as Light & Motion?
Christopher V  Thanks Bill! Can it also be changed to a Ball to be placed on a camera rig?
