I had literally got this gouge [...] and already took it on its first dive i was a little nervouse using a gauge thats literally straight out of the box on to the first stage and into the water but it perfurmed flawlesly i couldnt ask for any better its a great size and very east to read at and depth or light i am very pleased and i highly recomend it.

Questions & Answers Powered by TurnTo®

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
KENNETH A  price,quality
andrew b  I have a dive watch but when the battery dies I'm diving blind so this is a backup.
DAVID C  Two gauges are better than one. This little backup is great for a double check of my Aries computer and works without batteries.
LEON R  Economic first set of gauges for my daughter who was 11 when she certified its a good starter set
Shopper  Can the rubber hose be replaced or is it integrated into the bottom of the gauge?
KEVIN P  The hose is connected to the unit inside a rubber housing that can't be removed. The unit is able to swivel where the hose connects, but you cannot disconnect it except from where it screws into the first stage regulator.
PHILIP Y  As I recall the hose can be replaced. Just extract the guage from the holder by pushing it out of the holder and expose the connection.
JOSEPH W  This question was referred to me because i bought the gauge console in 2011. But, I don't really know if the hose is replaceable.... I've never taken the boot off the console. I would contact the manufacturer..... Joe from NC
Frank L  Standard high pressure hose that can be replaced. The gauge would need to be removed from the console, and then you would see the fittings.
Ken G  Yes its a standard high pressure hose...
CLAUDIA G  I just looked at the gauge and rubber hose. To me, it looks like it is integrated. At any rate, it is definitely not something that we would try to mess with. There might be a screw at the end but it is difficult to tell. Sorry for such a vague answer.
Shopper  is there a place for a compass on the back?
MARK M  no
Centerdrw C  Nope but it a great set of gauges I own 3
SIDNEY B  No, just the depth gauge and pressure gauge
CARLOS C  A a matter of fact I have a compass strapped on the back of it rather than on my wrist, it works fine. Both gauges are good and accurate.
ORRIS S  I bought this for my niece's son, so I do not have it handy to look at. But if I remember correctly, the back is flat, with no vendor supplied means to attach a compass. You could always attach a compass on the back via bungee cords across the middle. Sorry I could not be of more help.
COLLEEN S  No, there is not a place for a compass. The gauge is simply a very compact pressure & depth gauge. We primarily use this as an equipment backup in case of failure on a dive trip of the regular systems that we use.
